The Swoldier Nation-format of video is what built your following for a huge reason. It was a healthy dosage of real life, lifting, gains-on-display, and vlogging all in one. We enjoy your new videos, but having these bad boys peppered-in will be a definitely motivator.

@relston87 жыл бұрын
Massive respect for you Steve so please take my observation as a friendly tip. On your heavy set at 8.38 you complete 5 reps. In the negative portion of your rep, your positioning is spot on with your elbows close to the body and the triceps controlling the movement as your elbows fold. However, on the positive portion of the rep, you naturally flare your elbows out on each rep, switching more tension towards the chest and front delts as opposed to the triceps themselves simply because the weight is too heavy to maintain the proper positive position of the rep. Although strength gains will still be made it's important to make sure you have that strong mind muscle connection from start to finish regardless of the weight you a lifting. A great tip for doing this which I found works 99% of the time with my clients in the past is to focus purely on collapsing the elbows on the negative portion of the rep and then unfolding the elbows as you drive it back up, keeping your mind purely focused on driving your elbow towards each other rather than focused on pushing the bar/weight up towards the ceiling. Make sense? I know you are very knowledgeable yourself and also surrounded by knowledgable people but we can never stop learning. Keep making quality videos and Ill keep watching as you were the reason I took to the MP stage and won my first show. Keep inspiring.
