Can we tune into each other's vibrations? We explore questions of emotional resonance, vibration, and synchronicity in the 1991 film "the Double Life of Veronique," directed by Krzysztof Kieślowski, and what it means for the hidden connections in your life.
The Double Life of Veronique is the story of two women, Weronika and Veronique, whose lives are deeply connected in mysterious ways. Through their story we'll look at some fascinating concepts:
1. Simulpathity and Synchronicity:
One of the leading thinkers in this area is the psychiatrist Dr. Bernard Beitman, who says that we have the ability to tap into what other people are experiencing, and to feel what they feel, without any physical contact. He calls this ability ‘simulpathity.’
2. Fractals:
Fractals are a type of pattern that repeat themselves over and over again, in way that’s self-similar i.e., means that each part of the image looks like the overall whole.
Clinical psychologist Dr. Terry Marks-Tarlow tell us that fractal patterns are related to synchronicity in a very important way. If the universe is fractal, and we are self-similar parts of the whole, then is it really surprising that our inner states would line up with the outside world in such meaningful ways? In other words, synchronicity is what happens when the “fractals of external reality merge with the fractals of our inner reality.”
Dr. Beitman and Dr. Marks-Tarlow have a fascinating conversation on this topic here: • Fractals - The Foundat...
3. Intuition
Dr. Terry Marks-Tarlow also says that perhaps we intuitively understand fractals because that’s how intuition works. She says that intuition is the ability to take one slice of experience and understanding that it’s part of an overall pattern of a much larger whole, right away. In other words, it is taking one part of a fractal and extrapolating to the whole.

Thanks!! A small example about synchronicity. I had a girlfriend for 3 years and we were about to get married and then one morning she decided to break up the shock was so great that severe depression came over me I was literally about to take my life and then the number 13 started appearing everywhere on paper invoices, gas stations, cars suddenly I left the ex's apartment I rented in building 13 in the apartment Number 13 This went on for weeks until someone accidentally sent me a message on the 13th of the month on Facebook. I met her and that day I fell in love with her. I moved into her apartment which was in building 13 in apartment number 13 and her date of birth was the 13th. We got married on the 13th. We have 3 children and today was her birthday. 13.8 The 13 synchronicities were basically breadcrumbs that led me from a suicidal act of one woman to the real woman who saved my life. The universe is intelligent. I owe him a lot...

Just a little addition to synchronicity. Several years later suddenly without any warning when I was locked in my apartment alone I had a massive heart attack with the infamous name "widow maker heart attacks " with no chance of survival but I survived against all odds only later my wife told me that it was on the same date that her father died as a result of a heart attack.

When my son lived 200 miles away he called late one evening to tell me to ring him in the morning to make sure he was up, he had an early appointment. I got up the next morning and immediately thought of him and said out loud ‘ get up’ . A minute later my phone rang it was my son , half asleep saying ‘what…oh did you ring me or did I ring you’ I said it doesn’t matter..just get up. This has often happened between us 🌳💫

Thirty years ago my housemate in northern England invited his American friend to stay with us, the conversation turned to food, and I mentioned I like Mexican food - the American guy said "you'd love this place if you like Mexican food" and pulled open his shirt to show his t-shirt with the logo of a restaurant in Houston, Texas. I reached over and showed him a book of matches from the same restaurant that I'd picked up nine months earlier and happened to be using that day because my lighter was empty! It wasn't even a famous restaurant, just a small local joint in a town with thousands of Mexican restaurants, and very few English tourists go to Houston. It totally changed the way I see the world forever. Completely true story.

A few months ago I was feeling very stuck in the rut of life, but mysteriously I have had some seemingly negative experiences that have altered my life. I received a random zoom call from the owner of the company I work for and he explained to me that the company has been sold and I am officially laid off. Then 2 weeks later I blacked out while riding my dirt bike and woke up on the forrest floor with a broken femur. Funny enough I crashed into a tree 🌳 Although these may seem like negative things, I have been left with an amazing feeling that this is the path that I’m supposed to be on. Although I can’t move around much and I’m stuck at home most days I still feel so blessed to be alive experiencing the world. I think the unseen forces of this world are helping me get back to my true path, whatever that may be. 🌳

I know this is true because me and my wife have been separated for 4 years and she keeps coming back to me only to leave again because we keep fighting. But my point is: Each time when she leaves, about 2 weeks go by and I feel okay. After some time after that, my heart will start aching for her and I’ll find myself missing her. As soon as I feel that, EACH TIME she ALWAYS comes knocking at my door missing me. The funny thing is, the timing is always EXACT. It’s so exact in fact, that as soon as I feel that sensation in my chest, I always think to myself, “Oh now tomorrow she’s gonna start calling me.” And EACH TIME she always does! It’s literally precise! So now I know that when I feel a spontaneous strong emotion of someone or when someone randomly pops into my mind with a strong emotion attached to it independent of me trying to think about them, I KNOW they’re thinking of me! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve witnessed this phenomenon in my life personally. It’s really crazy.

I do this more often than not… I know exactly when someone I care about is thinking about me. It’s so innate to me now, I no longer freak out about it, now it makes me smile. I appreciate that this human, wherever they may be, is thinking about me. Regarding trees, when I am out hiking and I run out of energy, I always stop and touch a tree and ask it for some energy to continue my journey, after that, I no longer feel like giving up or being tired. 🌳

Wow, another amazing video. Yes, there have been times where I've felt what my parents were feeling. One time I felt like I was stepping on a stone, there was something wrong with my foot. I then talked to my mom and she was feeling the same thing. By the way, I went to a Spanish bookstore this week. I recently stopped reading the Count of Monte Cristo in Spanish because it wasn't working for me. So I was browsing in the bookstore and their phone rang. The owner lady took the call and I heard her repeat that her customer was looking for a copy of... The Count of Monte Cristo! Of all the books in the world!!! So I continued browsing and near the books of my favourite author Isabel Allende there were books by an author named José Saramago. The one that called to me was the one titled... "El hombre duplicado"!!! I bought it and it's right in front of me now. It's about a man who discovers that he has a double. I haven't started it yet, but when I watched your latest video it threw me for a loop!!! I am blessed to have these experiences, and when you mention how each of us is deeply connected to the universe I can only agree wholeheartedly. God bless and tree emoji!!!

Vibration is a powerful concept, but there are so many misconceptions propagated regarding how one should feel and act on a daily basis. It creates either a society prone to the agony of hiding or not acknowledging their own emotions or one emotionally illiterate. Since we are all connected and under the same patterns despite one’s beliefs, be it science, religion, spirituality or art, the recognition of what emotions are essentially yours is key to have an harmonious existence. Your videos are a work of art! And thank you for reminding me of that movie, I haven’t seen it in a while.

A few years ago I had a real doppelgänger experience : when I entered a bakery , they said : why - you just bought that bread a few minutes ago - when I replied no , I didn' t , they insisted that I had..- I took it as a prank - but the following weeks similar occurences happened everywhere : a guy who jogged past me winked at me as if we shared a secret.. when I looked puzzled, he , as he passed me, dropped a name - which turned out to be some kind of nightclub -( never been there ) ... A woman in the local museum claimed she had just seen me etc etc. - These were real eerie occurences and they lasted for a few months ( I had lived in the same town for many years and it had not happened before ) It was clear, that now there must be someone who resembles me very much - but I never saw / met her, and although I was also curious , in the end I was relieved when these occurences faded - she must have moved on - or perhaps even died ( because she saw me ?? ) Still, I am not sure why it happened to me / what the message was ...🌲😮🌲

Thanks for the comment, DiceDecides. I believe the experience you've described is common with empaths. Bro, how much information and value are you able to put into one video? This vid should be called the secrets of the Universe in 20 minutes lol! But seriously, awesome work; the law of vibration is definitely very real; I think it is why highly empathic people have such a high burnout rate in the medical field, as it can be difficult to be surrounded by so much suffering and those types of energies all the time. Also, I loved how you illustrated the fractal patterns of the universe. I think that beyond just visual and physical patterns, even the human soul can be thought of as a fractal: in the ancient Vedic tradition, the rishis believed that their greatest spiritual discovery was that atman=brahman, or that the soul is a fragment of the supreme creator, and that your innermost self is made of the same stuff as the highest divinity. Also, that part of the video made me think of a poem by Akiane, which has a line that goes: "I always knew that I was dust, but never knew that I was also a universe." Take care brother and keep up the awesome work!

Dear and admired Elson. Once again you brought to us another masterpiece, worthy of a well-deserved TV contract 😂 but maybe your content is too profound and elevated for those superficial waters… So, better let’s keep it between you and us 🙏🏻❤️ You certainly did an astounding job by putting into value and rescue the cult cinema of Kieslowski. It proliferated many interpretations on his movies/documentaries during the nineties, especially for the famous trilogy Blue-Blanc-Rouge, and how he made the magic of interconnecting images of the three pictures in each other, which can also be considered as synchronicities ✨ But the connection you did here arrives at a totally fresh approach, in terms of how every human being or even living creature is connected to a higher source of life and meaning. In this line, the liaison you make with The Tree of Life: “as above, so below”, brings the elinghtment that everything we experience in the outside world has a powerful and undeniable connection with the concept of inner fractals in a single unified universe/reality. And all of that, within the patterns that in most part of our lives we do not see until we really see… and everything changes around and inside… This reminds me of a bunch of other cult-movies worthy of your fine and accurate analysis, such as “The Fountain” (D. Aronosfky, 2006 -focused in the same Tree of Life); “The Wings of Desire” (Wim Wenders, 1987 -showing the inner and outer state of the mind between humans and angels); “The Tale of the Princess Kaguya” (Takahata, 2013 -when the heart calling and life purpose is not followed), “Pan’s Labyrinth” (G. Del Toro, 2006 -another epic/fantastic tale about The Hero’s Journey) and why not “The Seventh Seal” (Bergman, 1957 -about the perpertual search of God and the meaning between life and death within a post-apocalyptic period). I’m enchanted by the way you are able to connect all of this ancient wisdom and original thoughts throughout a totally credible and meaningful message. As many people here, I’m always eager for your next revealing top class production. I know is not your purpose behind, but if someday you decide to add a “donate” button, I’ll be the first to contribute, in order to compensate your time/energy spent and to support and encourage you keep doing this magnificent work of art that undoubtedly brings happiness to all of us. Blessings and sempiternal abundance for you and yours 🌳❤️🌟

I can't tell you what it means to me to receive such heartfelt words of support from you, and I'm blown away by your kindness. I actually love the Fountain, Pan's Labyrinth, and the Seventh Seal. Aronofsky, Del Toro, and Bergman are some of my favourite film makers; I love that you brought up those movies! I haven't seen those other films you mentioned (Wings of Desire, and Princess Kaguya), but I'll check them out as time permits, thank you for those suggestions as well. 🌳 Elson, thank you for this deep and meaningful video. Wow! There’s so much here. And yes, I believe there are deep connections between people that we have difficulty explaining. I’ve had a few such experiences. Quantum Physics attempts to explain it through the theory of Entanglement. And I’m sure you’ve also heard of String Theory, the idea that everything is made up of vibrating strings and everything has its own vibration. When we vibrate at the same frequency the connection is formed and thus we feel others’ feelings. The beauty about all these concepts that I try to pull together in my mind is these inexplicable connections. Perhaps it is as you mentioned that we are all patterns made up of the universe and yet living within it. I can only imagine the incredibly beautiful image we all create together, when seen from a distance or through the mind. I absolutely love your videos! I’ll be seeking out the movie. Thank you! 🌳

Really beautifully said, Alegria. I'm especially touched by what you wrote: "I can only imagine the incredibly beautiful image we all create together when seen from a distance or through the mind." Hi 🤗 as i have a big passion for astronomy and cosmology i have heard of string theory and yes, it can be related to all these events what happen to « aware » people if i may say…i think it’s beyond our comprehension, until now we can only marvel about all of that when we are enough lucky to realize it’s true, the more i age, the more i catch a piece of the big puzzle and i cease to be like WOW…………!!!👀🫣😅👌

I've had a number of interesting moments of synchronicity, all involving movies or TV shows (I’m an aspiring screenwriter/director), but the most eye opening one happened earlier this summer: A person who I work with is into spiritualism and, because she had done a seminar on spirit animals recently, she asked me during one of our weekly meetings what I thought my spirit animal was. As I don’t normally think about this kind of stuff, I randomly said “I guess a deer”. I tend to see them a lot on my walks, even earlier in the day, so that seemed like a suitable answer. Before I went for a walk one day, I remembered this conversation and looked up what a deer spirit animal meant, just for fun and out of curiosity, and one of the meanings said to listen to my intuition. My day that day had been kind of stressful because I got kind of stuck on a writing project, I was having doubts, and with all the stuff going on in the world, I was having a moment where I was like, "Am I even going to make it?", so the walk was a welcome break. I tend to listen to a movie related podcast while I walk, a radio play style program about filmmakers like Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, John Williams, and James Cameron) and that night I was listening to the episodes where Cameron is fired off of his first movie, and has a dream that inspired his big break, The Terminator, and then his attempts to get the script picked up by a studio/production company while a bunch of real world troubles are going on in 1982. I'm listening to this on the way back, and I'm suddenly getting a boost of confidence like, "Hey, yeah, I'm in the same boat as James Cameron. I can do this. I'm going to do this no matter what happens." Suddenly I see three deer laying down in someone's backyard and I decide to take a picture and they're all looking at me almost like they're posing. I get back home, and suddenly I realize a way I can figure out the writing problem I'm stuck on, I see a news story about a prolific author returning to my home state and I get a possible job notification for a script reader!

I absolutely loved reading this. Thanks so much for sharing, Vegimorph! Going on walks is also something I've incorporated into my day exactly for the reasons you described with your story: it welcomes synchronicity, it offers a refreshing break, and I believe it lets the unconscious mind make unseen connections that help with creative breakthroughs. May you continue to follow your intuition, and embody the spirit of the deer. I'd love to hear more about where these new developments may lead you, if you're so inclined. Big love to you and yours

@@ModernIntuitionist Apologies for the very late reply but I do have an update of sorts. Unfortunately the script reader position fell through but, to make a long story short, several other opportunities popped up soon afterwards, and now I'm at the point where I have multiple irons in the creative fire so to speak. It hasn't been the end of my synchronicities either because I just had one today in fact: Earlier in the week, was planning to watch a movie I had been meaning to see for quite a while as soon as I got a free moment. Today, a video about special effects in film popped up in my feed and within the first five minutes, an effect from the movie I've been planning to watch was covered. It didn't end there, however, as I had to stop watching the video to go do some errands, including exercising at the local Y where a movie I love and have seen many times, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was playing on TV., specifically the second half. I get back home and start watching the rest of the effects video, and lo and behold, an effect from the second half of The Last Crusade was covered!

I can feel everytime my mother is thinking of me or if she is in a bad way. i will have continual reoccuring thoughts of her and thats when I know- we werent close when I was a teen but now in my fourties we've reconciled but for some reason that connection was always there. my wife is french I am american we spend months apart sometimes in our differnt countries. I once went to see a doctor but didnt tell my wife. she surprised me by telling me the very next day that she dreamed we were in a clinic together visiting a doctor. I met my wife in India in 2015. I was lost and was taken to a guesthouse with only 2 rooms and one bathroom in it. I walked by the river after arriving and a french woman my age stopped and asked for directions. we talked a little as we both had a buddha pendant around our necks.. later I returned to my room and the french woman was in the other room. we talked all night and we have been together ever since. Synchronicities are actually quite frequent in our reality but they are usually unnoticed by the participants...🌳

Truly remarkable, Jason! Thanks so much for sharing your simulpathity/synchronicity stories. I especially love your Buddha pendant story, and it reminds me of one of my favourite Kieslowski quotes: "I like chance meetings - life is full of them. Every day, without realising it, I pass people whom I should know. At this moment, in this café, we're sitting next to strangers. Everyone will get up, leave, and go on their own way. And they'll never meet again. And if they do, they won't realise that it's not for the first time." If we don't take the chance to start conversations with people we might never know what remarkable similarities we might share. Thanks so much for your support, my friend. Big love to you, your mother, and your wife!

I love your story! I think if we were to be completely aware of synchronicities while they are happening, we would get in our own way. Overthinking things, forcing/ trying to have control of circumstances or trying to be something other than our authentic selves can pull us away from just surrendering to feeling the energy around us.

A profound re-telling of and access to the wisdom and knowledge of the ages across all of our history and cultures, past and present. Almost too much for any person to compile so eloquently. A noticeably stoic sounding voice-print. An unusually pleasant but tactical appeal to the humanity of the subscribed via an allusion to friendships that do not truly exist (for that can only be so when physical experience and knowledge between beings exists). Audio visual and media editing style efficiency/affectivity that is second to none. When do we get to meet the person behind this wonderful channel? IF indeed it is a person ;) P.S. A clue to perhaps one of your next ventures into the philosophical and ethical unknown: The machine will soon learn that the sum of all parts in the digital realm does not equate to or in any way compete with the sum of all the elements of the multi-faceted life force/consciousness that is within organic life. Looking forward to the home stretch, when all will be revealed. Thanks for all the good fish 🐟Loving the content!

Some 45 years ago, the relationship with my then girlfriend slowly began to fade, as she had met another guy. When she told me how she could sometimes, in a game, read that fellow's mind, I had understood that I had to let her go, which was painful but correct.

Do you remember how you felt when you found out she had a connection with another guy? I went through something similar with an ex-bf. I was actually angry and hurt for a while afterwards since it was a 3 year long relationship, things faded, we broke up and he married someone else about a year later. I eventually got over it but since we had good friends in common, I would see my ex and his wife at social gatherings. The more I'd see them and had conversations with them in social settings, the more I realized synchronicities between them. Her father passed away the same day as my ex's birthday, they both work in scientific fields so have similar logic and personalities based on that, they even moved effortlessly in sync. Eventhough our break up was painful at the time, I completely understand why he moved on. It's plain as day that they were meant to be together and there is something bigger at play here. I actually feel happy that love like that can exist.

🌴Thank you for your latest video dealing with synchronicity and simulpathity. I had not heard the term simulpathity before. I had a shared death experience (SDE) with a loved one 8,000 miles away. It was powerful and more real that this reality. We are all truly and deeply connected.

I always love hearing from you, Beth! Than you for sharing your remarkable SDE, and I couldn't agree more with you that we're all connected. My own spiritual experiences have convinced me of the same. Big love to you and yours, as always

I always have dream of Chatterphilar for no reason to explain. Maybe because of the horrible childhood encounter with it but now I am an adult I still dreamd of Chatterphilar. But scarry part it when I think about it I almoat feel it sitting on my skin somewhere and it always gives me chill. Often when I dreamed of a Chatterphilar I always weakup from my sleep it gives me enough chill.🌳

🌳 Yes it's so fun seeing synchronicites and patterns. I am in a bit of challenging times but, I don't understand the synchronicity that kepts going. It's hard to figure it out for now. Hope found an enlightenment so that I would be ready.
