All teams at the top are so flawed all season I stopped caring about who will win it. Koeman his game management is painful to watch. And I'm sick and tired of watching centre backs dictating the attack at the edge of the final 3rd. It doesn't work. Real gets increasingly dreadful. Atletico is very creative in not trying to be creative. Not a single Sevilla player is exciting to watch.

Koeman Failed in every big match of the season. But he has done well to pick the team from turmoil to title contenders. He has also done well given that he don't have a pure number 9. But his overuse of Pedri and lack of chance for puig is really annoying. I still think we should give him a chance next season with a good number 9.👍🏻

The loss of busquets to injury early on in the first half altered barca's attacking setup as de jong had to play deeper in midfield in the "busquets" role ,because of this barca missed out on de jongs attacking runs in to the box .

Another thing is the midfield, speaking of that holy mackerel is a lot messier than previous years(after enrique era). This totally doesn't do messi any favours because in order to build around messi, the midfield has to be solid, technical and energetic. Barca, u have to sort the midfield crap and defensive fiasco😡🤬

Koeman deserves 8.5/10 at the min as he brought Barca back from a trophyless season to a Copa del Rey winner and La Liga title race, also in a transition season, which is impressive... if he is given a second season he can get at least 2 major trophies...

Barça come from one of the worst period of their history so what we are witnessing here is an amazing work from Koeman ! 1) Copa del Rey won with several comebacks (Sevilla and Granada especially) 2) the return of a strong and competitive mentality in the dressing room 3) getting out of UCL with dignity for the 1st time since 2016 ! 4) Boosting de Jong, Busi, Griezmann, Alba and now Lenglet 5) Deciding to give Pedri, Dest, Araujo and Mingueza a potentially legendary career ... 5) Making this team play quite well (don't forget how Barça was playing with Valverde/Setien !) Now it's possible to win LaLiga so... don't be too harsh with this Barça legend.

I'd rate Koeman 6.5-7/10. He has shown promise even got to two finals and have one trophy. I don't think changing managers every season is the answer. Nobody is that magical he deserves one more season. I still remember when we were not even in the top four and the qualification for UCL was in jeopardy.

This season Lal Liga title race were like back then early 2000 La Liga.. When Barca and Madrid were good but not overpowered, and dark horse like Depor, Valencia, and Sociedad actually had chance until the end of the season to win the title

I would rate Koeman's season as a 7. That could be too high since he was kicked out of the Champions League in the round of 16, is unlikely to win the league, and lost most big games, but considering the situation, he found himself in, and since he already won a cup, I think it's an okay season. So I think he earned another season as the head coach. That said, as a Barcelona fan, I'd rather see a more tactically savvy coach for our team next season, and Koeman has some questionable decisions such as ignoring Ricki Puig, playing Sergi Roberto, bad substitutions, and wanting to get Winjanldom.

⚽️Koeman's first season: 6.5 I love the fact he has put an emphasis on utilising young players, giving them the invaluable experience that will yield dividends in the post messi era. I give him credit for steering the ship during the turbulent times due to the politics at the executive level in Barcelona and the messi saga. However, he has alienated players who wouldve undoubtedly helped out Barcelona such as pjanic, for no apparent reason. He also lost just about every big game Barcelona had and found his preferred system a little too late in the season

⚽️ I would rate Koeman’s performance 7/10, i have seen major tactical innovations from Koeman, that barca essentially needed, and he has got is from a rut to almost doing a double. Managing veterans and newlly came immature youngsters is not that easy u see. I would have rated Koeman 8 if he had played Puig, and believe me, Barca would have become Laliga Champions if he did !! Atletico and Simeone!! ah its a love story, he is good for them !! Koeman should continue, given, that he puts ego and issues aside, and play the likes of Puig !!

⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽ I'd rate Koeman's season a 4-5/10. His tactics and in game management is unacceptable. In addition, he has an unjustified bias against some players. Riqui puig was our best midfielder last season and now koeman is freezing him out of the team. Carles Alena has gotten enough experience to play in the first team but Koeman sent him out on loan again. Pjanic could have been used more often to give Busquets some competition but Koeman stopped playing him after he complained about his lack of game time. Pedri is a good player, however I don't think he should be a starter now. I mean, last season he was playing in the Segunda division with Las Palmas and now he's a starter. Also, he's 17 and he's already made 50 appearances for the first team. Even Messi had to prove himself at that age but Pedri is an undisputed starter and this may affect his hunger and drive as he knows he won't be taken out of the first 11 no matter how badly he plays. Koeman also favors players like Pique, Roberto, Busquets etc. He keeps them in the starting lineup even when they play badly and when young players like Trincao play well, he casts them aside and only remembers them when he's losing, then he starts throwing them on to make a difference. His tactics are horrible too. Any top level coach uses a formation and tactics that maximize his players' strengths and minimise their weaknesses. Koeman seems to be doing the opposite. He brought in the 3-5-2 to stabilize the defense but Barcelona still concedes almost a goal a game. The wingbacks might be good offensively but they don't provide the width an actual winger would. Top level teams just congest the centre and give up space on the wings because they know that Barcelona has no aerial presence in the box and the two forwards in Griezmann and Messi are short and are not good in the air. The midfield offers no creativity; Messi has to drop deep and create and at the same time is expected to score. We have genuine wingers like dembele, Trincao, Konrad, Collado but Koeman has a bias against them. Yes Barcelona won the Copa del Rey but honestly the trophy on its own is useless, it has to go together with LA liga or the Ucl to mean anything. Koeman also sold Suarez, our best no. 9 and he failed to get a direct replacement. Instead, he tried to buy Depay and Wijnaldum as replacements. That should tell you his intentions for this team. Koeman has only won one big game all season and that was against Juventus when they were missing several key players. He has to leave. Also, Simeone has to leave too. Personally, I think he has taken this team as far as he can and has nothing else to offer. If Atletico Madrid doesn't win la liga, he may leave.

Some of the tactical plays and team build-up is good by Koeman. However, he failed in multiple big matches esp. El Classico. His less trust in Puig, wanting only players from Netherland and not good defensive work is giving me a second thought. Anyway, giving him another 1 year to show his talent will be a good option as he came during a really bad situation at Barca. Regarding Simione, I think Athletico Madrid should opt for a change in their attitude towards the game. Seeing the only through Simione's eyes for decades is really hurting for them even though they have quality players. They need a new coach to rejuvenate the team with a new vision.

He also tried and implemented new tactics such as his new 3-5-2 system which works well. I cut 2 marks because of his lack of success in big games, and his stubborn decision making.
