✨ *UPDATE REGARDING MID-ROLL ADS* ✨ Hi everyone, we are thrilled to see that our meditation video has reached over 750,000 views and received such heartfelt feedback from many of you. 🙏 It's amazing to hear how this video has made a positive impact on your daily lives. We've also noted your comments about the mid-roll ads disrupting the meditation experience. We want to create the best possible experience for you, so *we've decided to turn off mid-roll ads.* This means there will be no ads interrupting your meditation session-only ads before and after the video. We genuinely appreciate your support and are grateful that so many of you are enjoying our content. As a small token of our gratitude, we'd like to ask for a little favor in return. *If you find our videos helpful and would like to support us, please consider subscribing to our channel.* Your subscription helps us continue creating content and offsets the revenue we lose from removing mid-roll ads. Our channel focuses on productivity and meditation is a key part of that. We're working on ways to make our videos more accessible to our English-speaking audience, possibly with a second channel or added subtitles. We hope you'll find our other videos helpful too. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. Let's continue this journey together!🙏✨

The time is coming where looking inward and going into seclusion will hurt us more than benefit us. When the world around you is starting to come down, are you going to hide inside yourself and tell yourself everything you want to hear, or try to make a change? I also ask myself this question, yes meditating and taking a break for a while is fine, when it leads to 2+ hours, I believe it is wasting time, not because it is not giving results, but because there are more important matters at hand, and of course you know that. What would happen if all us meditated and hid from ourselves? Would it make the world better? Or would we be ignoring reality changing and its upcoming changes believing we are making it better by... doing nothing and keeping the mind still free from worries, even though those worries will come back because reality hasnt changed for the better? Theres a time for action, and theres a time for stillness.

Modern Zen instruction is so soft and gentle. This teacher's approach is a fine introduction to Zen. Master Dogen said "You must train as if your hair were on fire". The first 15-20 years of zazen are a struggle. For a Westerner, using a seiza bench is much better than struggling to maintain good posture in a cross-legged position. Learning six sounds practice for use before zazen will calm the emotional energies that arise as thoughts and facilitate meditation. Zen is not relaxation. It is a method of realization which is focused on breath and posture. It is an emptying of self until one lives with less and less experiential distinction between inside and outside. Anyone seeking relaxation and an easy path will rarely continue training. Don't quit. Be as severe and determined as Daruma. Thou art Buddha.

Thank you so much for the feedback, that means a lot to me, and I totally understand and highly appreciate that you like more of that. We're currently working on a way to deliver both German and English. It's such a hard decision, since I personally watch 90% of my KZbin videos in English, But many others don't. Right now, due to parental leave, we are a quite reduced team at Blackboat doing these videos. That's why we really have to stick to one option, but we'll be back with the solution soon.
