Exactly what I was thinking. Thought it was neat but it had to small of an engine. I'd swap a much bigger engine in. And strengthen the weilds/reinforce the frame

I hope You and Your's stay Blessed too.I've Never said Anything negative here.but Please do NOT ruin a great 2 seater.You can bump out the sides to make it more spacious for 2.I'd think your family would like to enjoy your carts with you,or together themselves.That cart will make an awesome camera chase vehicle,but you need 2 in it.

Rear ends are spaced like that to help with ackriman angle. Spacing it out will hurt your steering unless you address the front

He could use a old three wheeler engine as a transmission just pull the stuffing out that aren’t needed and run a chain from the 670 to the crank of the other

I have a Kandi buggy with a GY6 150cc. I've done everything to it and it is still destroying belts. Even Bates PowerLink belts. I've replaced the variator, clutch, spring weights stiffer and softer, roller weights lighter and heavier, checked pulley alignment, checked everything else. The case cover is breathing well. I don't know how to fix it. I've had it on blocks with the cover off watching the pulleys change ratios with engine RPMs running up and down and it is operating just fine. But it still kills belts in just a few hours, sometimes faster than that. It's so frustrating!!!

Looks good I would leave it a 2 seater so the Mrs can ride with u. We have one like that a 4 seater. We go trail riding with the 2 oldest kids. The wife loves it. I use a Polaris motor from a four wheeler. It's automatic with reverse. We use it all the time. Weeks ago I added a stereo system from a junk car. We just use the Bluetooth to play music. And I use outdoor speakers which are waterproof. I am thinking of rebuilding it into a 6 seater. And add a old VW motor. Since u don't need a radiator.

Hate to criticize but you asked, so... I realize it’s easier to mount the engine to the swing arm and all, but I would do whatever it takes to mount the engine to the frame, chain tensioners or whatever. It’s got to be a nightmare for the shocks to control the extra weight, and then the extra stress on the axle leads to extra weight for the axle bracing, and on and on. Cool cart though.

Rich from Rich Rebuilds is using an EV bike to swap a rat rod...can't help but think that this Atom clone would've been a better choice for swap...imagine just how much torque that'd put on the wheels. :))

I own three 150cc go karts and one thing I myself and others who have seen mine all say the same thing about the rear tire sitting to narrow. if you made those rear ends to bolt right up to standard I bet they'd sell . I just don't have the time for a lot of fab work but some just can't fab but would love a rear assembly like this if the were affordable and sold through gopowersports I bet they'd sell easily
