Haha I like the mighty joe young score. I thought the emotion was strongest in the pencil test but the CG was gorgeous too! I really love the colors. I would've enjoyed seeing the film, you do amazing work.

Digital Domain stopped by our college back in the day and showed these clips to us. I remember I was so in awe and absolutely fell in love with the direction of this film. I'm still heartbroken it never got to get finished. The work you guys did for it was fantastic! ~

Hey Aaron! I was researching about Tembo and could not avoid seeing your art in there. I was really sad to read that it was cancelled, but I could not find updated info. I loved the sample cut reel I watched at Vimeo (123123555), it was amazing! I'm in love with those characters. Is there any chance that it could come to life someday? Even if its not in 3D, 2D animation would be perfect (I preffer this way, particularly). Thanks for all those awesome work of yours!

Aaron, I’m really sorry that you had to cancel this film. It held so much promise and it would have been your first film. I would have liked it since elephants are my favorite animals. But..ya know, if ya took all the storyboards you made from it and put them together as a sort of storyboard film, then you could present it onto the internet for al of us to see. That is…if you want to. I’m not saying you have to. Just a small thought

you can see that the " realistic " walk test isn't real at all : an elephant ALWAYS has 3 feet on the ground. that's why it can't run.

Umm... elephants absolutely can have two feet off the ground. They don’t run like a traditional quadruped but it’s inaccurate to say they always have 3 feet on the ground.
