not true actually, a lot of n/a and turbos are affected as well.

@@booo50 yes....the 4.5L V8 N/A and Turbo....not the 4.8

​@@gureno19 all of them and 4.8 as well. 4.8 n/a was made by the same tech process as 4.5 and tend to have issues with cylinder lining as well. half of used 957's n/a and turbos here on second-hand market are already went through the liner process. many of buddies whom I know also did it already. it's very common porsche problem, cayennes, panameras, macans, all of them, especially if you've not the best fuel quality and probably oil as well, like we here in Russia. After the lasing process with cast iron liners the engine runs well and often longer than the new one.

I own a 2009 cayenne s and it’s been the absolute best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I’ve owned it now for 10 years. Absolutely perfect with very minimal issues that were easily corrected. Now it’s a safari tribute with a lift kit and bigger wheels and what not, and it still does everything just as good as when I bought it… just a tad slower now 😂

The first generation was built as a real off roader, some even had lockers. They really changed for the second gen, much less off road capability but more road focused.
