I'm so aware of being too close to the camera on my device, however, I don't have a good set-up for something better. If everyone on a video call is being animated in their engagement. It's distracting.

These tips are valid, assuming virtual meeting participants turn on their camera, I have found that many virtual meeting participants don't even turn on their cameras because they consider it like a telephone conference, so why do you need to see the person. I find it annoying because it is like putting a bag over your head in an in-person meeting.
