I’m doing this but down to OMAD and now fasting for 2 days. My first time ever doing this in my life. Since starting my inflammation is WAY DOWN. So much so that I’m off my steroid inhaler for asthma!!! It’s like a miracle!!!

This is impossible for me b/c of my allergies to certain foods, hence me being vegan for 23 years. However, it's great for anyone to have a smaller portion of insulin/sugar intake, or simply a smaller portion of anything! You're also spot on w/ the oils that should be avoided👍🏼

Great video and I appreciate you helping people with so much valuable information for free. I just recently did most of the things you suggest but am fasting 20 hours a day eating just 3-4 and lost 11 lbs in 15 days. One thing few people know and is rarely discussed is each 1lb of glycogen(sugar) stores in your body holds only 4 I believe lbs of water. So when you start losing weight and burn through say the .75lb of glycogen in your body you will weigh 3.75lbs less but its not likely much fat and happens quick. Once that's gone most of the weight going forward is fat and the pace will SLOW down so be prepared for it. We spend years and often decades abusing our bodies it will take 3-18 months to fix and lose all that weight. I do a cheat meal once a week but afterward do some cardio bike for 30mins, Ruck with 30-45lbs on back for a mile or two it will REDUCE your sugar levels and release less insulin. I often bike 15mins and then ruck 15mins for about 200-250 calories. I often wake the next morning weighing less EVEN though I enjoyed a great meal maybe 1/2 pizza or big carby italian food. This lets you get back on track faster and may also reduce hunger during next week as body isn't in starvation mode. Works for me not sure if there's scientific proof of this or not. Apple cider vinegar also helps on bigger carb meal. I notice I weigh the same or less next day vs when I don't do this often weigh 1 lbs more mostly probably water weight from excess glycogen.

If you use fruits are your carbs sources, there shouldn’t be a problem? Fruits are good for you. Just do a small portion with your breakfast and lunch.

This is not true, be careful they have a tendency to raise estrogen which can cause cancer during menopause. New studies show women should avoid high estrogen foods when going or during menopause.

This style helped me but my meals were like this Lunch heavy about noon and dinner at 4 less heavy bc I'm still full from lunch and not starving. Cut the beer n carbs lost a ton in 1 year. About 75 pounds

I do IF and only eat before and after workouts…lower carbs will effect performance but I have high fiber with meals with berberine, high protein moderate carbs and fats…lift 4 days a week with cardio…if u time carbs u can avoid high insulin spikes

@@universalblessing4856 not to my knowing…with anything always take smallest dose or research or speak to a naturopathic doctor…I take the recommended and only started to add more based on my searching I did (not recommending just something I’m trying on myself)…I am 6’6 240 muscle and want to lose a bit more body fat so many at my size slightly higher dose won’t effect me than it might a female that is smaller…u can follow what the bottle says or even start with one capsule instead of 2

I been doing my best to eat healthy and intermittent fasting. In March I weighed 232 and today I weigh 213. I haven't done any exercise other than walking 8k steps because of my work. The only hard part is rice, my wife is Chinese and can't get away from it lol

Cant cardio.. or heart rate at a level 2 for 1-2 hour range but you in a fasting like state.. so i love ice cream in bed .. but also love my cardio i run or do weighted stairs a where from 1 -2 hours.. .i just need a reason to.not feel guilty and weak for my ice cream habit.

I lost 90 lbs 5 years ago with keto and fasting. It came off fast, 6 months. I gained 30 lbs back with carb creep over the last 2 years. Currently I have been carnivore for the last 3 months and haven't lost a pound. I've tried fasting (up to 72 hrs or alternate day). I've changed my eating window to 6 hrs earlier in the day, getting more sleep, exercise (resistance and cardio on opposite days) and so far no weight loss. I am convinced it's my hormones and healing needs to happen, but getting really frustrated. Am I just not being patient enough?

Try dry fasting (no food, no water). It’s the only thing that works for me because it destroys the fat cells whereas water fasting doesn’t. Do your research first by watching Dr Jason Fung, Luke Cortinho, and others. Start with 24 hours. I dry fast first, then water fast. If I do the reverse, I don’t lose much. Good luck!

Some people just do better with a ketogenic diet. Now, if you’ve got other reasons for being on carnivore, such as healing other things or food sensitivities, then just make sure you’re eating enough fat and check to make sure you’re in ketosis. You also want to be eating enough overall. This is often a problem when people move to carnivore.

@@LauraB.335 thanks for your suggestions. I have been mostly keto this whole time since losing the weight 5 years ago, and have tried carnivore a few times. This is the longest I've stayed on carnivore, and yes I've considered the not eating enough aspect but do not believe that is my issue, although I find that it is difficult to get 2 big meals in, in a 6 hour window...especially that first one in the morning, as Ben suggested in another video. I've never been a morning eater, even when I was eating SAD years ago. I will continue to tweak and stay on track. Hopefully things will start to shift. I do feel a lot better where joint pain, and inflammation are concerned. As well as anxiety and hot flashes...that is almost completely disappeared.

Years ago, I did keto and was highly successful. After menopause, I gained. When my thyroid conked out, I gained. I've been doing keto since before the Rona and carnivore for 3+ months. Total weight loss over the last 4 years is 7 lbs. Talk about depressing. I also exercise (walk a lot, lift weights, swim) and do the 18/6 IF schedule. I could cry sometimes.

as a vegetarian it's literally impossible to follow his diets i get my protien mostly from lentils and beans and cottage cheese and soys which is complex carbs and combined with intermittent fasting i have seen changes in my body and i also have pcod that also bars my weight loss so its tough here for me

Thanks for a good video. I'm 12 days into my third attempt at Carnivore, after at least four tries at Keto. Every time, I've lost about 15 - 20 lbs, and then got stuck in a plateau that lasts at least three weeks. I say at least, because after three weeks of gaining and losing the same 2 - 3 pounds, I've given up in frustration. I'm like you, and like to research the heck out of things like this. What I concluded was that my 'metabolic syndrome' is so bad, my insulin levels are so high, that when I start eating clean carnivore (The "BBB&E" challenge protocol, to be precise), my body goes into Repair mode after a brief, and mostly water, weight loss period. My liver probably hates life too, between the SAD diet and the bourbon. This time, I said I wasn't going to heed the scale, that I'm committed to three months of _100% clean_ Carnivore, and I'll evaluate the overall effects and merits then. I've weighed myself a few times, mostly in the last few days and sure enough, I'm down 20 lbs. (from 330 to 310, when I should weigh 160) and have now been stuck for three days. My question for you is simply, do I just need to keep at it, and wait for what might be several weeks, for my body to start shedding fat? I'm doing OMAD, and my meal has 143.00g protein, 147.2g fat and 1891 calories. It's ground beef, fried eggs and butter. Sometimes I add 2 oz. crumbled bacon but only when I want it, which I mostly do not. What, if anything, should I do differently? I do hope you see this and answer; I'm at my wits' end as to how to get this damn fat off of me...

You may want to change eating window. Omad is for maintenance. I just read someone saying that Omad is sustainable if you switch out t timing of that One meal : a day at noon, next day eat in the evening, etc .

@@Frigger20 - I actually just did exactly that, due to some commitments which left me without time to eat my noonish meal. Ate the exact same meal at 6p. Stepped on the scale this morning? _2.5 lbs _*_GAINED._* Thanks, but I'll stick with all calories consumed before 2p.

My husband and I started this 3 months ago on the 6th. We eat meat heavily, but also have some veggies like spinach, broccoli, okra, cucumbers. And heavy whipping creaming cream, and cheeses. Also coffee and sparkling water. We still take vitamins and supplements. My husband has lost 37 lbs, just being retired active, and riding a bike 30 minutes every other day. I’m also retired, but have back and hip problems so not very active at all. I’ve still lost 23 lbs. Be sure you look into keto “flu”, and it applies also to carnivore. Everyone’s different, but lots of people have stomach discomfort the first two to three weeks, and diarrhea sometimes too. And then wham! You suddenly feel Good, have lots of energy, and love it! Your body is transitioning from sugar for fuel, to fat, and getting rid of toxins. Look that up on YT, and here. There are many channels. Lots of people have found their Way, here, to the Proper Human Diet.

Is we eat too much protein, those get converted to carbs. You can tell by checking A1C (over time). It’s possible you have just enough neoglucogenesis to keep you on the thin line between burning carbs and fat. When carbs are exhausted (glycogen) through exercise and fat is not released by your cells, insulin is still too high and it makes one feel exhausted : fuel tank empty. Could also be electrolyte issue. Have you tried adding a bit of good quality salt ?

You make "rice" by grating a squash, similar as you can make *tagliatelle* of squash. Sometimes you can find it ready made in stores.

@@TezTezTezTezTez- avocado or coconut oil. EVOO is good for not too high heat, as long as you’re sure it’s true EVOO. But you can also use butter, tallow, ghee, etc.

Another TERRIFIC video! I think we need remind ourselves and each other about the timing that this takes. For example, if you’re carrying around 15 to 20 extra pounds, the likelihood of you following this type of advice and losing that 15 to 20 pounds in four weeks! is highly unlikely. I think it would do us good if you shared some realistic timelines for the weight loss. We need to encourage each other to be patient, and that this fitness lifestyle is a lifelong journey. I’d like to see you address the realistic timeline goals. Cheers

Even if they do go for 1 mile walk after big meal that will fix it! Don't worry so much people exercise MORE 45-60mins a day weight comes off fast.

Lucky?? Really not so lucky. We that are following keto, carnivore are losing the fat, healing our bodies something modern medicine cannot seem to do ( in my case anyway) so you are at the disadvantage not knowing how absolutely amazing it feels to be in charge of your own body, instead of being pumped full of drugs and B.S. .

Carbs you need to eliminate from today 1,oats and oatmeal, cereal All Bread , trains Fruit and Friut juices Quinoa White and Brown rice Potatoes and sweet potatoes all lugunes Beans peanut's lentils, chickpeas Foods to replace with Coliflower rice Squash rice Cabbage rice Eggs Red meat beef and lamb Seafood sardines mackerel anchovies salmon herring And finally poultry chicken and turkey . Secondly foods you need to replace inflammatory foods with anti-inflammatory foods Inflammatory foods Vegetables and seed oils Oils to remove Canola oil,corn oil, Cottonseed oil, soybean oil Safflower oil, sunflower oil Rice bran oil, grapeseed oil Fish oil, peanut oil refined. These oils are polyunsaturated fatty acids these need to be swapped with Saturated & Monounsaturated fatty acids! Fats you need to use Butter, Ghee, Beef Tallow, Duck fat, lard Oils to use from monounsaturated fats which includes oils from plant based or fruit based fats that are great for salad dressings or dips these include Avocado oil olive 🫒 oil and coconut 🥥 oil .
