My husband is a type 2 diabetic. He takes 300mg of benfotiamine a day and 200mg of Thiamine twice a day. Also magnesium, zinc, Bcomplex and choline. At his latest test his A1C was 5.9 (prediabetic range) and he is no longer on any insulin or diabetic meds. He has modestly cut carbs but still is quite carb heavy. Benfotiamine was a game changer.

Nutritional yeast is a great way to add b vitamins into food you're already eating. It's cheap, it smells like cheese, has only a mild cheese flavor and can be sprinkled on or mixed with almost anything. I add a tablespoon a day to at least one meal sometimes two and since I also cut way down on carbs, i don't have peripheral neuropathy anymore unless I over eat desserts around holidays. I also got my diabetes under control and don't need medication for it anymore after going low carb and losing 100 pounds. Anyway, if he's still having issues or wants b vitamin variety, look into nutritional yeast, you can get a tub of flakes relatively cheap and you only need a tablespoon or two a day.

Although the heartrate decreases when you lie down and you are less likely to faint, most people with POTS have severe chronic symptoms no matter their position sadly. Could this possibly help with schwanomas which are on some orbital nerves? I truly am very grateful for your knowledge which you are sharing with us all. I have a daughter which has had schwanomas removed. However, this was done by a wonderful Dr. at John Hopkinns. His surgery was exploratory as the schwanomas were not being picked up on the MRI's. I have Celiac Disease, because of this I have difficulty absorbing nutrients. It's great to know that Benfotiamine is a FAT SOLUBLE vitamin. BECAUSE fat soluble (vitamins) make it easier to ABSORB the nutrients for people with Celiac Disease, otherwise the nutrients just get flushed out of us without us getting the benefits of the nutrients. GREAT video!!! I love that she was able to present the most important facts about Benfotiamine in an easily informative style.

I would suggest to also have your B6 levels tested. I have been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy without diabetes (or even pre-diabetes). My neurologist did a blood test showed that my B6 levels were way too high which, she thinks, is causing my numbness/tingling and tremors. I was not on megadoses of B6 either. I just took a daily multi-vitamin. Vitamin B6 is odd in that the deficiency symptoms and toxicity symptoms from it are basically the same. By the way, be careful with benfotiamine- it gave me heart palpitations and made me short of breath on just 150 mg. Maybe it is the sulfur in it that bothers me.

Otherwise will jump on a consultation in a heartbeat! Thanks in advance and apologize for being lengthy!
@NerveDoctors
@NerveDoctors Жыл бұрын
Hi Stanley. Thank you so very much for your kind words. It means so much to us and thanks for being a LOYAL FAN!! Now, let's address your question because you certainly need guidance. Yes, there's absolutely a solution and we certainly want to make sure you don't lose any more digits or limbs for that matter. Usually, when I see diabetes of this nature (bullous diabeticorum) it's because the glucose levels have run awry with little to no control. The fact that you consumed copious quantities of alcohol would certainly play a significant role. BTW...BIG CONGRATULATIONS for giving up the alcohol! That is no easy task and you should be very proud of yourself. So, the first and most important thing is to lower your hemoglobin A1C and your glucose levels and maintain them at a healthy level. The best way you can do that is by following a ketogenic diet, as well as taking the following supplements berberine, and a good quality nerve support formula that contains R-ALA, B6 (in the form of Pyridoxal 5 Phosphate, B12 in the form of methylcobalamin, benfotiamine, folate (5-MTHF or Quatrefolic), L-citrulline and acetyl l carnitine. These supplements all have a ton of research studies showing that they can improve insulin sensitivity, decrease glucose levels and assist in nerve repair. Also, L-citrulline improves NO production to improve circulation and Acetyl L Carnitine has been proven to protect the nerves from further damage or limit the ongoing damage due to elevated glucose and any other neurotoxin your nerves may be exposed to. Because of the severity of your problem and the long-standing time frame, most likely you will also need to use photobiomodulation. I'm including a couple of links to my videos that you should watch will help you get a better understanding. 1. Is diabetic neuropathy reversible (pt 1): kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaSQiH16aLyCoNU 2. Reversing diabetic neuropathy (pt2): kzbin.info/www/bejne/pp-yeqmOjJ6Er9k 3. Vital nutrients for nerve repair: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYHVpqRqbpKeqbc 4. The right dose: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mnywgYCGf7JngLs 5. Healing with light: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hH-7dah8mJqWfrc Also, I just want to let you know that Dr. Coppola and I have formulated NUPHORIA cm Gold and Blue nerve support formulas to address the issues I mentioned above. It contains all of the necessary ingredients in the correct amounts as outlined in clinical studies (we do ship to Indonesia). Here's the link: healmynerves.com/collections/nerve-support/products/nuphoria-cm-gold-blue-bundle Lastly and most importantly, we do telephone or Zoom consults around the world for people like yourself. If you would like to schedule a consult with us you can email us at: info@nuphoria.com and my assistant will give you more information about it. Well, I believe I've written a book (lol). I truly hope this information gets you on the right path and restores your hope. Stanley, you don't have to live with this condition or lose more toes, so please don't accept that as your fate. Hi, Sharity. I’m so glad the video was helpful and you found us! From clinical research, we discovered that specific vitamins help facilitate nerve repair for peripheral neuropathy. For more information, you can check out these two videos: Vital Nutrients for Nerve Repair kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYHVpqRqbpKeqbc The Right Dose kzbin.info/www/bejne/mnywgYCGf7JngLs Now, I know that is a lot and taking that many vitamins is very hard to do. So, we created a formula that supplies all the vital ingredients at the therapeutic dose in 2 bottles: Nuphoria cm Gold and Nerve Defense. You can purchase them at nuphoria.com, or call our customer support line at (844)400-0101.

My mom is 89 and complains about sharp pain and lack of energy. She has had the same doctor for over 10 years. She has AF and high blood pressure. So naturally she is on medication for those as well ass high cholesterol. That’s it. “Go home, and when the side effects become unbearable, call me and I will be glad to prescribe some more pharmaceuticals.” 😳😱 WTF! 10 yeas ago she had some of her colon removed because of cancer. Absolutely, nothing to help optimize what is left of her colon. No consideration for the side effects of taking A cholesterol drug - no CoQ10😳 nothing about ALA or other supplements to compensate for less colon.😂 no blood work to check for mitochondrial dysfunction. With elderly patients you know some of these problems will be of concern, but apparently not with him. A year ago I brought her a tray of supplements including C0Q10. 6 months later she gave them back and said she will not take them because she doesn’t believe in them😳😱Yet, some how she believes in pharmaceuticals. I have sent her videos like this to support the latest science. Finally, after 2 and a half years she has started taking CoQ10. 😒

WOO HOO!! Congratulations!! That is huge and how incredible that you never gave up on her!!! Keep up the good work. Dealing with family can certainly be challenging. Now, try not to be too hard on your mom's closed mind about supplements and unyielding faith in pharmaceuticals. It truly isn't her fault. Big Pharma spends literally hundreds of millions of dollars on advertising. On top of that they invest tens of millions of dollars into hiring specific groups that analyze the emotional pull certain marketing ploys will have. So, unfortunately your mother, like most people has been seduced, manipulated and brainwashed without even knowing it. Keep educating her. You're doing a great thing! Blessings.

I do not suffer from diabetes..I suffer from tingling and burning in the body..and as you described my condition before, you told me your condition is mild..thank you..just a note. I just remind you that I have been using r alpha lipoic acid 600mg for a month and a half daily..and my improvement is slow One day I will be better, and one day I will be tired from tingling and burning in the body. What is the reason? ??
@NerveDoctors
@NerveDoctors 2 жыл бұрын
First, let me address the pain levels being up and down...this is normal as your nerve begin to heal. The symptoms will not steadily lessen daily. Here's an example of how pain levels decrease. Let's say your symptoms get as high as a 9/10 (10 being the highest pain level possible). As your nerves heal, one day your pain level may drop to a 7/10 for the day, but then the next 4-5 days it will be backup to a 9/10. Then 2 weeks later it may drop to a 6/10. This volley will go back and forth until there's been substantial repair in the nerve. Once there's been substantial repair then your symptom levels will drop and stay down and continue to decrease. Next, let me address your progress being slow...First, we know that nerves are the slowest healing tissue in the body and 1.5 months is not a long time. Even for mild neuropathy cases, it can take up to 8 months to 1 year before the nerve is healed. However, when I'm working with my patients, I never just place them on R-Alpha Lipoic Acid by itself. I always place them on a combination of R-ALA, Benfotiamine, Pyridoxal 5 Phosphate (B6), Methylcobalamin (B12), Folate , L-Citrulline and Acetyl L Carnitine. This combination, in therapeutic doses, will produce the best results. Watch my video: Vital Nutrients for Nerves. This will give you more information. @NerveDoctors
@NerveDoctors 2 жыл бұрын
Good morning, Carlos. Thanks for sharing this. I'm happy to shed light. Benfotiamine is extremely safe for the kidneys and even people on dialysis. In fact, I'm going to share a research study with you that shows it protects the kidneys even while on dialysis. Here's the link: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3083313/ Also, benfotiamine has been shown in research to improve heart function as well as lower elevated diastolic blood pressure. Diastolic number is the lower number on your blood pressure readings. Here's the research on this: bit.ly/3Tood2J These are merely 2 out of the many studies out there on this topic. I'm not sure where this person received their information but it probably wasn't research related. This is one of the reasons that I ALWAYS base the information that I share with you guys on Clinical research studies. Blessings.

@NerveDoctors Жыл бұрын
Hi P Larkin. I agree with you that everyone (especially those not consuming a healthy, low -carb, well balanced diet) should take an overall B-Complex. However, when you're battling a neurological condition, a B-complex isn't going to do the trick because it will not contain the correct doses for nerve repair. Now, do I recommend still taking a B-Complex while taking a nerve support formula or additional Benfotiamine or methylcobalamin, absolutely. Thanks for sharing. Blessings.

If you take 600mg of benfothiamine a day, this is equivalent to about 2400mg thiamine. This huge amount of B1 will require some additional B vitamins (they work as a team) and magnesium. But you might not need this amounts of B1 - depends of the problem you have. You might need only B12 or B9 plus B12, always in their bioavailable forms. But you are right, it is very complicated. It took me years to aquire some basic knowledge so that I can help my two autistic grandsons. But it was worth learning.

It was adversely affecting digestive transit (MMC) which was creating a bigger problem than the nerve pain it was prescribed for. Wow! Just discovered this channel yesterday and am blown away by the outstanding style of delivering your information. You provide the perfect amount of detail so we can UNDERSTAND and know what to purchase. I thankfully discovered your channel yesterday and watched your video advising about R-alpha lipoic acid. I am trying to help someone heal neuropathy. So.. I had to go out and buy the correct type. So grateful or I would have continued with the synthetic type. I am so excited and have not had a chance to peruse all of your videos yet, but if you don't have any of these topics covered already, there is a need for videos about them: 1. Can I take too many supplements or will my body rid of them when I urinate? 2. On bottle the "other" Ingredients section is SO CONFUSING. How does the avg. person know if those ingredients are good or bad? Who would have known people are putting seed oils in our supplements? One supplement was perfect on everything else until I saw on ingredients there was "soybean salad oil" 3. I thought "dl" was all I was supposed to be looking for as far as "synthetic" and to avoid. So how would one know that Alpha Lipoic Acid for example is mostly useless without coming across a video like yours? And how in the world would anyone know that S- Alpha counteracts the effects of R-Alpha.? I thought I was doing good by looking for dl. And what does DL even mean? lol. 4. How are synthetic vitamins made and how are vitamins made., using a good analogy. I think if consumers can understand this on a basic level, it will not seem so overwhelming when shopping for supplements. It's as if we have in our brains that they come from the sky and are created in a lab by magic..lol. 6. Who exactly can make these supplements, and are there other things to watch out for as far as if the person seems reputable? 7. The "other ingredient" list on the bottles is really, really where I get stuck and have no idea what is considered to be a normal part of the capsule, etc. I know my comment was very long, but I am so excited to come across your channel and you explain things extremely well. Too often, presenters do not provide enough detail and this info is important to understand.

Hello, loved your video and passion for healing. I have a grandson with severe eczema and allergies. Just wondering if you had any suggestions. He is 6 years old and has seen many allergists but not finding relief. Thank you

HI Kelly. It hurts my heart when I read things like this. I've treated several pediatric cases with severe eczema. One case was so severe, the child's parents had tube socks on both arms to prevent her from scratching and tearing at her skin. Whenever you're dealing with skin problems like eczema (or psoriasis) you are always dealing with a Leaky Gut Issue. So, the first thing is get your grandson off of all GLUTEN, CORN, SOY, AND DAIRY. Also get him off of all processed foods. Next, his gut needs to be healed and this isn't a quick and easy step. I would start with Amy Meyers Leaky Gut Revive. He will also need a probiotic and I would put him on colostrum to rebuild his immune system. This will also help with his allergies. This is the starting point. I would find a functional medicine (FM) doc close to you to oversee your grandson's progress. Here's the link: ifm.org/find-a-practitioner/? Blessings to you and your grandson.💖

I agree with the doctor. My son had this from an undiagnosed thrush infection that spread through the body and perforated his bowels. Colostrum, probiotics, and avoidance of the foods that are found to be allergic along with their derivatives via skin scrap test for a full year. No artificial food dyes, low sugar. No problems today except a little seasonal allergy. Good luck

Great informational video!! I have been researching the topic of neuropathy. My mom has neuropathy and is taking Gabapentine, Meloxicam, Plavix, Lipitor, and hydrochlorothiazide. Is it safe to take Benfotiamine with these medications? I just discovered your videos today and subscribed. I will be sure to watch more of your channel as you seem to be very informative and not full of BS. Take care!!

The right question is…how can she reduce the dosage of those prescription drugs? Good news is I have gotten off these and now feel better taking benfotimine , Moringa, and a good Glucosamine & Chondroitin and MSM for pain management. It can be done and I wish your mother wellness from this 70 yr old who was able to wean off prescription medication within 4 months. I did supplement with (Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM ) during the weaning process. Blessings .

Hi, just come across this video. I have been researching benfotiamine for a few months now and also found not many people can start with the dose you suggested. In fact a lot of people, even with Parkinsons, found much lower doses were working . Do you have any double blind studies to back up the high dose? I would be very interested to read them.

@@NerveDoctors Thank you. The studies did say that even 150 mg was still effective. I am not saying it was wrong to suggest a high dose. Just to maybe suggest starting low and working up as quite a few people do experience adverse affects when going high straight away.

Hi Ian. You're very welcome and thank you for your kind feedback. OK- onto your question....thanks to Big Pharma's control...no these natural supplements are not available by prescription. Please don't let that deter you from a much, much safer alternative. Blessings.
