Stories are loved by humans because they are more logical than reality which is often confusing as fuck unless you do a deep dive into the people and history of something. Movie Bad guy had bad guy mustache all people with bad guy mustache are bad. They do things because they are bad. Simple logic. people like it. Reality. Person who is bad guy works harder than you'd ever think was possible to appear to be good guy. His actions are based on many variables we can't see. He's probably not actually bad, he just doesn't value other people or honesty. As others have pointed out. A good story has its own logic that is satisfying to the human mind when this is done well people see the movie as more real than reality.

I don't get these filmmakers who make these terrible ghost movies. They seem to think that showing someone walking abound with a flashlight saying nothing while nothing happens is scary or suspenseful. It's not. It's just really boring. I have seen several "scary" movies where a big chunk of the first part is taken up by this sort of thing. It's right up there with those bad found footage movies that spend 30-45 minutes on the characters just getting to where the story is going to happen for tedious, boring, pointless padding. I guess that's what you do if you have 45 minutes worth of movie but need to pad it out to feature length. You just pad it out with boring scenes of people driving or walking around some place where it's free to film while nothing happens,. Throw in some royalty free spooky music to try to convince people that something is happening. Maybe add in a cheap scare or two.

Horror movie antagonist: (is clearly supernatural) (Bad) Horror movie protagonist, about 5000 times: "It's clearly a dog/some kids/a highly aggressive swarm of bees" The only horror film I've seen which subverts this is Attack The Block, which makes sense since Attack The Block is one of the two horror films I've actually seen (so far, since I'm a bit more into horror than I used to be) and is (in my opinion) a subversive masterpiece that I should really make a video on as soon as I can track down a copy.

0:24 "This goes on for two tedious minutes until we see our protagonist, the unfortunately named Rob Walker." I don't believe I've ever laughed so hard that early into a movie review before. 👍 Only found your channel recently, but you have a gift for comedy and sharp cutting remarks. Looking forward to hopefully seeing your channel grow!

This channel is so low budget it's amazing. Perhaps this is what happens when you review the lowest of the low in the garbage bin.

Let's be honest: This channel is _still_ higher budget than the reviewed films deserve.

Would've been better if Rob Walker was being haunted by his brother, Doug Walker and has to listen to him screaming in a high pitched voice every 5 minutes. Now that would be terrifying.

You were correct about that music sting being from the iMovie stock library, as I have heard it myself while browsing for sounds to use in my videos. Mind you, this was before I was smart enough to download better sounds from the internet.
