I put Edgecomb Gray in most of my downstairs in a home I remodeled. It has high ceilings and lots of light, even in the north facing rooms and it was gorgeous. I tried it in my current home with 8 foot ceilings and less windows and it didn't work. Clicked on your video to see suggestions for a north facing large living with lots of windows but it still seems dark even with soft white walls. I may go with Mayonnaise by BM, it's a gorgeous soft cream. And then paint the dark wood trim around all the windows (lots of trim!) a bright white.

It's crazy how light can change a color so drastically, I really am a fan of Mayonnaise, it's warm and uplifting!

Why would we need US paints? What is wrong with our UK paints? Do we not produce them?
@NicoleSageАй бұрын
We do and I share lots of videos of British paints on my channel, but It’s great to have options over here - I also do have a large viewership on my channel from the US, thanks

Because BM has gorgeous colors and quality paint. Farrow and Ball does too.

We have tons of paints here in the US we could say the same. We use tons of Farrow & Ball here!

Interesting and helpful. I also like the wallpaper in your room. If you have time, could you share the design and colorway? Thanks.

If jitney is too dark and dimity is too light, which would be inbetween? I am also considering skimming stone , I have white timeless walls, a dark grey couch and dark brown carpet, so want a feature wall (chimney breast) to stand out from white timeless but not too dark? Sorry for the complicated question haha

Morning! I'd look at Oxford Stone, Skimming Stone (this has a warm grey undertone so may work best with your couch!) or Shadow White - perfect mid neutrals!

In a north facing bathroom, I have a Carrara marble floor and I am struggling to find a white paint, there is a yellow based white on the wall but it doesn’t show up the marble floor very well, makes the marble look dirty. Would you have any ideas of farrow and Ball and Dulux options that could work please?
@NicoleSage29 күн бұрын
Morning, if you're looking for a white - consider something like Wevet F&B - despite it having cooler undertones it brings a lovely softness with it - no yellow tinge. For something warmer, consider a shade such as skimming stone F&B, a warm light grey that will work well with marble and has no yellow undertones.
