I love this. I'm definitely going to do this workout. I like how the exercises are full body, leg focused, but work absolutely everything. I also like how the movements are functional, athletic, and correlate with real world activities more than a standard back squat in my opinion.

OMG! Game changer. All the squat racks are usually occupied and I’m having to wait a long time to get my turn. No one ever uses the land mine. I’ll be owning it today. YAY me!!!❤️

Yoh!!! Tried this today and I must say I was sweating by the first set!! Did 3 sets with 10kgs, one set each exercise and with lunges I used the bar only. Took me 30 minutes and I was out! 👌🏽👌🏽 Leg workout

Great routine. was dripping with sweat after two exercises . Had trouble with the reverse lunge couldn't get the form right and only had energy for about 5 reps. I'll get it though. the bar is in the leg section of my gym and i could sense everyone checking out the routine. No one said anything but it was cool ! Thanks for the routine!

Wow! This is the best landmine video I've seen yet!! Finally someone who has the barbell inside a landmine attachment, and he put it in two large heavy plates so it dont move or slide while you are performing the exercises. Very smart! You won't wreck your floor or wall or yourself!! Good job!!!

Are 2 plates at the landmine base enough for heavy weights?
@MindPumpTV6 жыл бұрын
That should be enough, but feel free to add more or less at your preference
@maroofakhtar5 жыл бұрын
I dont go tot the gym, i bought a barbell and few weights and that is all you need. and I would recommend that to include this in your routine
@junkyard-p1s4 жыл бұрын
You need one more thing. A landmine attachment you can buy on Amazon or eBay. You put it in two big plates like he did. Don't just prop the end up in a corner by itself. That's like jumping off the high dive, in a pool with 2 ft.of water.
@powuhh5 жыл бұрын
So basically you do all exercises and that counts as 1 set right? No rest in between exercises? Should you go lightweight ? I just started squatting but I think this will help with overall strength. Thanks! You guys are the best.

I really love how you did 5 exercises. Maybe you could offer newbies how much weight to add since the bar itself is already heavy.

I have a problem with endurance of bracing my stomach and I’m kinda too big to wear the weight belts that the gym has. Would this be better for me to do over traditional squats and lunges? If I do too much I really feel it in my back and out of breath and failing when I try to go heavy. I used to wrestle and it’s like everything else is still strong but I’m limited by my core.
@MindPumpTV6 жыл бұрын
Jarek Bannister - The Form Expert I don’t think it’s a long term replacement for those movements. But they would be a great regression/starting point if they are easier given the limitations you stated. No need for weight belts for bracing, they certainly help increase IAP (intra abdominal pressure) but one can stop brace and stabilize with the core without a belly. I wouldn’t advise training those movements to failure either. At least not often.
