Oh my God dude, these recipes get better and better! I’ve been relying on store bought patties, and they’re expensive and a little too processed for my liking (but alas, I’m a sucker for yum yum lol). This gives me the courage to try making my own!

I love that you always make sure to mention that the amount of sun exposure you need to the sun for vitamin D varies based on skin tone ! These sound really delicious. I may try those nachos next week

For nacho chips, I buy corn tortillas, cut them into triangles, and bake them. No oil, no salt. When you add your toppings, you can't tell much of a difference. Thank you for the recipes!!

Any chance you'd attempt at making a meal prep plan video with more universally accessible ingredients? I know "universally accessible" is relative, but using as common ingredients as possible where possible. Thanks.

Thank you, I appreciate that. I mean, I could probably get all the ingredients if I special order and get them delivered from across the globe to South Africa. But I try to buy as local as possible to reduce my carbon impact. I was thinking ingredients the are common and accessible in most nations like: Rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes, tofu, beans, broccoli, spinach, etc etc etc some of the speciality items are great but become super costly and difficult to find in certain locations. I'm not sure if it's possible or worth it. But I figured if anyone could do it, it would be The Vegan Gym team 🌱💪

Hey I made the TVP burgers and they are really good but they were falling apart. I didnt squeeze the water out of the TVP! 🤦‍♀️

Macadamia works (but is expensive) Sunflower and almond butter can work, just half the volume with butters (ie if 1 cup loose nuts replace with 1/2 cup nut butter).

As a vegan I get so much iron I need to donate blood to keep my levels in check. People who think you don’t get sufficient iron on a plant based diet don’t know what they are talking about. Lol great video. I make burgers like this and then cool them in the fridge before putting them in the freezer on a sheet pan and freezing completely. Then stack them in a freezer safe container or ziplock type bag for easy meals that would otherwise be a a night of crappy convenience food.

This was a good meal prep but I can tell these recipes can be improved. Those pancakes more like English muffins which is probably how I will use them.

I think most recipes can be improved 🙂 But taste is also a very personal thing. To hit all of these nutrition facts without adding oil, butter, sugar, or anything else, I think it would be hard to make these pancakes significantly better. And they were quite good, just a bit dry in my opinion. Nothing some extra blueberry “syrup” can’t fix 😋

That is an absurd amount of protein. But otherwise, I like the idea. My partner meal preps veggie burgers on repeat. People around me think vegans eat lettuce and tomato salads, but we have burgers almost daily and they're so healthy.
