I love that you don't give every recipe a 5 and you are extremely entertaining to watch. Thank you for the oil free recipes. Have you tried Yacon syrup instead of maple? It was a low glycemic choice listed in "How Not to Diet". It's pretty good.

I was under the impression that me going vegan/WFPB, I didnt have to worry about counting calories, just eat till I'm full kind of deal.. I dont eat processed foods, do I still need to count cals? That'd be a pita.

It depends on what you eat and what your goals are. If you eat an entirely WFPB diet with plenty of veggies, then you shouldn’t need to track calories to maintain a lean figure. But you don’t need to track calories in an app every day to lose weight even if you’re not following a WFPB diet. I like compiling a list of my favorite recipes (for example: 3 breakfasts and 5 lunch/dinners) that are all high protein and have around my target number of calories for a meal, then I just cycle through them based on what I’m craving. There are lots of ways to do it that are pretty easy 😊

I like to shred my super firm tofu, I sauté some garlic and onion in some avocado oil. add soy sauce, ketchup, maple syrup and ginger powder and vegetable stock. add the tofu and frozen green peas and/or other veggie you like.

vegan moms will watch this video and then turn around and starve their kids on a super low protein diet comprised mainly of sugary snacks. these "vegan bodybuilding" channels just exist to cover for the disordered eating that most vegans engage in because they are obsessed with being skinny. for every vegan who is trying to build muscle there are 99 who just want to be as thin as possible. that's why this channel has 118k subs and the channels where skinny women tell you to eat nothing but raw fruits and salad have millions of subs.

i love this interview, re-watched it, shared with my whole family, esp before big holiday meals to reinvigorate our lifestyle goals, share recipes, find agreement in what we learn. i found Dr Gregor 8 yrs ago on youtube and after my 36yr old son watched with me, and followed the no meat-no dairy lifestyle, he completely CURED his Ulcerated Colitis after 3 months. Additionally, a follow-up colonoscopy showed not one sign he EVER had UC at all❗ Now his 20 mo old son is thriving on 99 per cent plant based food since birth. This year on his first halloween he wondered what all the children were collecting, my son explained its a tradition to dress up but we don't like candy, so of course his son could smell and was curious, and decided to try it, and after one bite put it back in his bucket. When he got home he motioned to the fridge for his favorite - fresh rancho gordo black beans❗At every turn it seems his curiosity leads him back to the taste of real food. Plus he sees what we eat and like every other baby, likes to mimic his mom 'n dad. Thanks to Dr Greger our lives have greatly improved in so many other ways, i could write a book.💕
