Released in 1989 on The Calls "Let The Day Begin" album. The Call is one of the most underated bands of the 1980s if not in history. I have no rights to this song or video. This is purely for entertainment purposes.

One of my favorite songs of all time. It's a great song to listen to when you've gotten up too early for work and are driving to the office, almost as good as a cup of coffee!

I agree-undoubtedly one of the most underated bands of the 1980's. This was one of my favorite songs as a teenager. Thanks for posting this nugget of forgotten gold.

I can't agree with you more. Michael had a wonderful voice, and his songs were just superb. I fell in love with The Call when I heard this song on the radio back in '89. Of course, I had to get this CD. I'm so sorry that Michael passed away so young. His passing was a great loss both for his family and for the world of music. RIP Michael.

Like to thank the team I belonged to for letting me play this music way back in the 80's and surprisingly the people who recognized the band. This song still can play in the 21st century!

definitely in the top ten of any list, along with 'the walls came came down'. I listen to it over and over again. truly, a song for the ages. "here's to the wall that bears their name". Michael, you did make an impression; and the piano is 'killer'. LOL

I absolutely agree with you on that. I first heard them on the radio with this song. After I heard it , I went out and bought the CD. When I heard the last song on that CD, Uncovered, that one just blew me away. It ranks right up there with the greatest songs ever written. We lost Michael, as we did alot of others, way too soon. RIP Michael. I'll be having the pleasure of meeting you in a few years.

I am extremely torn between picking this song number 1 or number 2 on my all time list. You'll never guess the other song, but we'll save that for another posting. The piano is 'KILLER', and makes this song. (By the way, this is my first posting.) Anyway, I've been a fan of the CALL since I first heard this song, or "The Walls Came Down". Which ever came first. LOL Loved the late Eighties, early Nineties. And I will end with "Heres to the wall that bears their names".
