Everything was amazing. The mismatched energy, them sitting very close to each other, him being 110% enthusiastic over her and her comeback to a girl trying to take her man - amazing love story and perfect sketch 😂

I’m amazed at how well Marcello is at creating characters like this, and actually I think they would be a great recurring duo for weekend update.

Colin: I can’t help but notice that there are some unlikely couples popping up these days. Here to comment are Grant and Alyssa, a couple you can’t believe are together. Grant [To the Audience]: Yeah! Let’s go! What’s up! How we feeling? I’m psyched to be here bro, this is amazing man! Alyssa: Hello. Colin: Oh wow. Yeah, so I can already see you’re a pretty unlikely couple. Grant: Oh man, opposites attract, man! That’s science, bro! Alyssa: Like magnets, for example. Colin: Cool, so how did you guys meet? Grant: Oh, we met at the club Colin! It was Trap Night at Club Sweat. And I walk in and I see the finest thing I’ve ever seen in my LIFE. And she’s sitting at the bar watching Steven Universe on her phone. So I walk up to her and I say, “DAAAMMNNN, who are YOU?” Alyssa: And I said like, “Hi, I’m Alyssa.” Grant: And I said, “Hi, nice to meet you Alyssa, I’m In Love.” Play my track baby! [Grant dances in his chair.] Grant: Man, I love music, man. Colin: That’s really amazing, yeah. So, I’ve heard a lot from you, Grant, I would love to hear more or perhaps exclusively from Alyssa. What do you do for work? Alyssa: I’m a student at Barnard. I’m getting my masters in 18th century graveyards. Grant: Yeah, and as for me? I teach a Soul Cycle class on the tarmac at Laguardia, baby! Yeah! But by baby, she’s just being modest right now. She’s also a poet. Come on baby, give them a little taste of what you do. [Alyssa removes a folded piece of paper from her pocket, and reads from it.] Alyssa: ‘The celadon waves lap against the light house. Softly, as if they’re dreaming of another life.’ Grant: BOOM!! Slam it on that lighthouse baby! BAM! Then what, baby? Then what? Tell them what happens after that. Alyssa: ‘The old man watches the hourglass.’ Grant: OH DAMN! OH DAMN! Where did that old man come from, Colin?! Alyssa: ‘And she was ephemeral.’ Grant: Yeah, nice to meet you, Ephemeral! Hahaha! Oh man. And you know what else I love about my baby, bro? Is that she is mad protective, Colin. Colin: Oh, wow, really? Grant: Oh hell yeah. One time, this girl came up on me in the club. Talking crazy, feeling up on me. And what did you say, baby? What’d you say? Alyssa: Uh, I said, “Did you buy that fake booty on Temu you dusty bitch?” Grant: SLAM! SLAM! Colin: Oh my god! The couple you can’t believe are together, everyone! [Alyssa and Grant wave goodbye to the crowd.]

Okay, all kidding aside, can we please, PLEASE see more from this couple? Like lots more. I would pay to see their movie. (And isn't it THAT easy to get an SNL movie made? I mean, it used to be.) Please, please, please give us more of this couple!!!
