The eerie magazine look awesome I like the black ⚫️ and white edition to this episode and the conan books had great black amd white art 🎨. I'm starting to like the magazine size comics and I want to find some and horror is the best genre to me. Great way to end with a great wrestling match Easy 👍 can't wait till the next episode buddy.

Great episode ECR! Loved it! Nice to see you dug up some videos of when white folks were setting the dance trends 🤣The black and white magazines are something I have a passion for and you showed some nice examples. I would guess that, for me, I've gotten more fun and entertainment out of the Savage Sword of Conan than any other comic series. I wish DC would have gotten into the act as well as I think it would have been cool to see some of the DC Universe characters in a more series/mature light. I also think a lot of those bronze age horror comics from DC would have looked fantastic in the larger B&W format with a little more gruesomeness. Take care Amigo!!

Amazing and fun show once again Easy! To be honest, when you announced you were doing a deep dive into black & white art, I thought you were talking about the black & white boom of the indie comics of the 80's. That would have gone into a very different direction because more often than not, the art on those 80's indies was done by beginners and amateurs. Now, the comic book magazines of the 70's on the other hand, was on a completely different level of quality. Targeting an older readership than regular comics, the magazines of that era had to be of a higher quality. Another good incentive was, without the colors, the artists couldn't ''cheat'' their way in. The whole thing relied on the line art being all there, and well defined. That Gil Kane & Neal Adams team-up was almost overkill in terms of quality. Two brilliant artists doing some spectacular work. And I love Basil Wolverton, and his art comes out even better in black & white in my opinion. Adding colors to his very detailed inking looses some of the quality I think, oversaturating the pictures. Wolverton was a huge influence on the underground artists of the late 60's. Loved everything you showed Easy! Good job my friend!

What’s up Easy! First off that dude doing the Nitty Gritty was in a zone! LoL! Being a vinyl collector I love that you show the album cover of your background music and That Exciters LP looks pretty dang groovy! Man I love the B&W comic mags! I don’t have many but I always got my eyes open to add more to the Cosmic Collection! There’s something about seeing the art in B&W. I’m not sure if it’s just being able to see the details more or what. But it is stunning! That full page layout in that 2nd Conan book is absolutely amazing! Far out stuff! Holy cow! Little Larry is tearing that guitar up! Mindblowing! That’s so wild Ivwas just reading that issue of Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction! How wild is that? I love the Cosmic stuff! The Horror mags are also right up my alley! Beautiful my friend! You’re hitting all the right stuff for me! Great video and I love the intermission clips too! Keep em coming Easy! ⚡️🖖👽⚡️

Another fantastic show Easy! Huge fan of B&W art and those mags .. Buscema, Chan , Giordano, Perez, & Tom Sutton .. Some of my all time favorites in there 🤩 I think it takes looking at these mags to really appreciate how talented these guys were because at the bigger size you can see all the detail and it’s not muted by the color. I LOVE that Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction series and probably have 2 complete runs of that . I’d forgotten all about that Nitty Gritty tune.. I got whiplash just watching those dancers 😂.
