Demise is honestly one of my favorite bosses in the series. He looked at link as just some mortal man who was worthy enough of his time and energy to fight one on one instead of simply killing him right away or sending one of his higher ranking followers after him (besides Ghirahim, we all know he must of had a more competent follower he could of sent to do the job). It wasnt just some "oh you little pest, im going to just wipe you out and get along with my plan" like Ganon/Ganondorf does/tries to do, it was personal. Link, some mortal man, stood up to him, a literal DEMON KING capable of power and magic borderline on par with Hylia herself, without faltering or second guessing himself once. Demise saw Link as a worthy opponent worth his time to fight, that fact alone made those last scenes with their interactions so much more meaningful with so much more emotion to them.
@Sakachi183 жыл бұрын
@ I don't think Demise had anyone more loyal to him than Ghirahim. Plus, Ghirahim is pretty competent. Just not when it comes to Link, because he liked Link and thought they were bound by fate and didn't kill him the first 5 times he had a chance.

The former is undoubtedly annoying as f*** and I'm still baffled as to how the developers thought that was okay. As the latter however, Fi is one of the best characters of this game and even the Zelda series. Midna will always be my favourite, but Fi's character also has a special place in my heart by now. Her opposition with Ghirahim as two incarnations of their respective God's sword is so fascinating and her good-bye with Link is just heartbreaking but also wholesome at the same time. **SPOILERS** . . . . . . ...follow-up theory, I always thought the inverted triforce on Demise's sword had something to do with Lorule from Link Between Worlds. Ghirahim gives off a white light just before he turns, more like the color of Zelda's soul than Demise's. What if he was meant to be Lorule's Master Sword like Ravio was meant to be Lorule's Hero? And does that mean there are more heroes and sword spirits? What if the Fierce Deity was a being like Demise and Hylia but for Termina? The series has a tendency to make groups of three (for the triforce & old gods) with a special fourth (for Hylia) so where are the others??? I have been thinking of this since the release of the original game and it may be driving me crazy.
@MaximeLafreniere4333 жыл бұрын
These are good theories, but there are other explanations... (Don't feel bad, a lot of people thought about all of this, myself included.) Demise is the anti-Hylia, the anti-god. The gods have the Triforce for symbol, so Demise has an inverted Triforce. The same way that the Master Sword (Fi) has a Triforce on it, Ghirahim (anti-Fay, Demise's sword) as an inverted one on himself. This game is all about the inverted sides... humans and demons, Sky and Earth, Hylia and Demise, Fi and Ghirahim, etc. As for Lorule, it's only the mirror world to Hyrule, the other side of the coin. For Termina, we can't even say if this place was real or Link's imagination, like Cocolint... As for Fierce Deity Link, I think something is said in Hyrule Historia and/or the mangas. *(All that follows may be wrong, it's just what I remember someone else saying like 5 years ago...)* He was a warrior of the Golden Goddesses, just like Hylia, but he was eventually sealed in the Fierce Deity Mask, the same way Majora is sealed in his mask. I think he got *crazy* after Hylia disappeared to become mortal or something like that.

In any of the future games I want to see Demise return as the only traces left of him are sealed in the Master Sword, and I believe that every time it is drawn, Fi's rest is always disturbed. So Demise's destruction is never completed, and should the Master Sword ever be broken Demise will fuse with his current reincarnation and bringing him back to his full power. I've also always wanted to see a return to Skyloft and the thunder mechanic for the Master Sword in Demise's fight. Skyward Sword is still my personal favorite Zelda game.

Skyward sword's ending in a nutshell.... Goodbye Fi = FEELS (whether you like Fi or not) Not even a minute after, only a couple of seconds after.... Teary eyed yet? Well... TOO BAD!!!!!! Gonna hit you again with Impa's death! Am I right?

I really enjoyed this series. Watched the vods here on YT because I never had time for twitch. It was really fun nonetheless, but there is one thing I would have loved to see… and that is the minecart minigame. Not because of the Heartpiece but because you liked the story version so much and I struggled with the expert mingame version. So it would have been nice to see that like the pumpkin one which is the only minigame in a Zelda I never finished in the original. Now in HD I just beat it today… finally… barley… so it was kinda satisfying/ruining for me to watch you perfect it🤣.

If you have time for the vods you’d have time for twitch

The saddest part about this ending was that groose was forgotten

I’ve done it. I have officially watched 37 entire hours of pointcrow playing skyward sword. Was it worth it? Yeah probably. I kind of wish he finished the batreaux sidequest though. Oh well. It was fun anyways.

Same, tbh he was so close to finishing it I wish he committed but ik he had a lot of other stuff going on and chat were being dicks. When he collected all the loose ones in the last vod I rlly thought he would 😅

The fact that Nintendo piled in sad moment after sad moment convinces me that everyone who has beaten that game cried at the end

5:19:00 actually took me 15 minutes to do the mini boss + the use of my upgraded invincible potion … I guess that’s how bad I am LOL

I think the "horror story" crow is talking about is elantris by brandon sanderson. Good read.

So I started watching Crow's VODs because I enjoyed his Playthrough of Skyward Sword a lot. I'm currently watching his Twilight Princess playthough from last year. And he told the chat he wouldn't play SS because he's already played it. He's now at a part where he's collecting tears of light and he asked if this was like the Silent Realm sections of SS because playing them was stressful for him. I thought everything beyond Faron was new to him in SS but I have a feeling he played through a lot more of it than we thought? Who knows. Still enjoyed the content but confused by the contradictions. He claimed this playthrough was his first real experience with the game. But you gotta go through all 3 main areas of the game before you can get to any Silent Realm trials.

I think its moreso he's seen it done before, but its the first time he himself has done it. Plus even throughout the playthrough he did say he was watching someone else play it as well. Like he knew about back in time too, but he himself hasn't done it, yknow?
@MsMaidh3 жыл бұрын
@@chrisnf9921 I guess. I was just excited to see his first time reaction to certain story beats but it technically wasn't his first time seeing them. That's what I'm more so wondering about. Like his first time going to the silent realm he seemed genuinely surprised and confused but he already knew about the silent realms.

@@MsMaidh Another thing to consider is the performative element of streaming. Remember how in the first stream he restarted because he thought there was a new cutscene at the beginning when there actually wasn't, and wanted to do it again for the sake of not looking stupid. Not inherently a bad thing, of course, but you have to be mindful that they get paid on Twitch to entertain the audience, and not only that; now they have to look ahead to the footage that will be included on the VOD summary videos that go up on his main channel.

@@chrisnf9921 That's true too. From an entertainment aspect. Thanks for your take on the subject.

He did not and I am just bamboozled. He did a side hop one time on accident tho. Also crazy that he didn't figure out rolling until after he found all the Kikwis 🙄😂😭 There are so many things he missed out on, but it was still amazing
