I used to doubt I’m an ESFP bcuz “I don’t have Se cuz I’m terrible at sports and I’m not physically aggressive” and also,I do have a lot of trauma related to school bullying which made me a little paranoid over ppl and sometimes dissociate in social situations(with CS Joseph videos I typed myself as an INTJ) but after watching your videos it made me consider I’m an ESFP.
@lsaacthecraftsmanАй бұрын
I think you should consider ENFP, athletics and physical agression is an OBLIGATION in Se ego, double on ESxP. Gamma don’t have time wallowing over trauma.

As much as I struggle to admit it as an INTJ, you're so right about extroverted sensing being underrated. Very interesting points raised about ESFPs!

Is Se really that underrated? I think Si and Fi are even more underrated, in the sense they their strengths are less often mentioned than their weaknesses in my view - especially Ni but also Ti are overrated - Ne is sometimes positive viewed, but also negatively - Te and Se are medium viewed - Fe is quite often negatively viewed - Fi and Si are mostly negatively viewed

@@PowerRedBullTypologyFirstly, love the channel name, probably explains how you have 90 more subscribers than me and no videos. That and starting in 2009. Definitely worth just going for it and starting to make videos, I know I should have started sooner. I'd agree that as a whole Si is more underrated than Se. It's seen as the boring function and is often looked over in favour of "cooler" and "more mysterious" functions like Ni. However, looking at the INTJ function stack, you can see how I personally neglect Se too much in my own life and often am naturally inclined to think "what's the point", hence why I find it underrated. As for Fi, also underrated, though I can see its uses at least. Having a solid values structure is often looked down upon by society in favour of Te "getting stuff done" and productivity, but there is definitely something to be said in, say, doing what you love and feels right over what's the most efficient and output-driven approach. Thanks - That MBTI Guy

You're right about the Rose. One of the artist and musician that I know once get into Diffuser even make a good song with Diffuser as his inspiration. He learns about the system and about what for Diffuser in the mean to talk about the function and how it works inside the box. Also, how he looks like a crazy person on stage. It feels like there're no tomorrow but at the same time he knows the time about when he need or should gives it all at once for only one performance or when he's perform for concerts that take at least 3-3.5hr for one concert while he need to maintain the pace for the whole tour. He had such a great endurance to show his will power to perform and standing on stages.

ESFPs get a lot of stick, as if they're all shallow Paris Hilton types or something. But when they mature, ESFPs are just... mwah! It's refreshing to have that immediacy and authenticity -- to know where you stand. Indulge their cosmic and nerdy side underneath that no one ever gives them credit for, they love it! ;-)

I find too that Se is often what brings people together on the same plane in much more meaningful ways than Ne (due to the changes of focus). It can be effective in bringing people together for a cause because by providing a perception and not a judgement, people are free to judge it for themselves.. keeping their different viewpoints but banding together to make a meaningful change that they all would agree with due to a perceived problem.
@beatofmyown6 ай бұрын
Yes, exactly. They can be very loyal to causes or to another person for those reasons.

@@beatofmyown From what you have described in the video, I see the stereotype you are going against and I think you are spot on. From my outside view, I see the part I am describing here to be immensely important and also underrated of Se. I find when there is a social issue, Se is the one function that gets everyone on board with solving it, because it gets to the heart of the problem, rather than having a judgement that might be good for one person, but not resonate with another. Other functions tend to cause alienation rather quickly when trying to do this. Ne in turn would have to individually find the reason for each person to care, but Se in my experience manages to describe the issue in a way that doesn't have that problem. I think this is a more accurate way to describe the charisma of Se, in that it describes issues in an extremely relatable way, even one that allows others to relate to it in different ways that do not violate the integrity of the understanding.

I noticed your voice sounds different than usual. Fantastic video! I liked how you explained ESFP and how you explained how their sense perceptions are determined by the objective reality. Like they move into the object rather then out. As an Se user I liked how you explained that and found it really relatable!

The voices of new mothers temporarily drop by more than two musical notes after pregnancy, scientists have claimed. Researchers from the University of Sussex found new mothers’ voices become lower and more monotonous after they have had their first baby. However, this “vocal masculinising” does not appear permanent, the team said - with voices reverting to previous frequency after one year. They speculate the change may be an attempt to sound more authoritative in response to the new role of parent, or could be driven by hormones. Lead researcher Dr Kasia Pisanski, of the University of Sussex’s School of Psychology, said: “Our results show that, despite some singers noticing that their voices get lower while pregnant, the big drop actually happens after they give birth.” The study examined 20 mothers, including singers, actresses, journalists and celebrities, and compared them to a control group. Analysis of archive interview footage in the five years before and after pregnancy found women’s mean voice pitch dropped by more than 5% - the equivalent to around 1.3 semitones. The women’s highest pitch also dropped by an average of 2.2 semitones, or more than two notes, and they had less variation in pitch, the study found. “Our results demonstrate that pregnancy has a transient and perceptually salient masculinising effect on women’s voices,” the authors said. Pisanski added: “One possible explanation is that this is caused by hormone changes after childbirth. “Previous research has shown that women’s voices can change with fertility, with pitch increasing around the time of ovulation each month, and decreasing following menopause.
