I was too young to see the first 4 or 5, got into wrestling as a 9 year old Summer 86 so the Oct 4, 1986 SNME was the first one I ever saw. My Dad taped it on the VCR & I watched it the next morning. I can't even remember who Hogan faced (likely Orndorff at that time) but Jake & Steamboat had their feud blowoff match when Ricky brought out the Komodo Dragon as the equalizer to Damian haha, such Bollocks but loved it! Piper had (in reality it was weeks earlier but on TV it had just aired earlier that day) his leg injury from the beatdown he got in the Flower Shop but he shows up and beats the Iron Sheik with a school boy rollup in a quick match. Such great memories, it would air 5 times a year, early October, Thanksgiving weekend, the first saturday after New Years, mid March and usually Mother's Day weekend.

Man I love me some 80's Wendi Richter. 80s hot all the way... Ahem anyway, these events were so amazing back then. Gotta remember this was a good while before weekly primetime wrestling shows. I was very young when these would come on as an 80's baby, so it was like a gift or birthday present anytime I would catch one of these on a Saturday night.
