I still don’t like Abby because while Joel did kill her dad, he did it humanely and only killed him to save Ellie, a 14 year old girl who didn’t consent to a surgery that would kill her. Joel and tommy then save Abby’s life and she still tortures Joel savagely before killing him in front of his loved ones. Then when the people who she did this to understandably want revenge her people try to kill anyone who sets into Seattle and then she kills Jesse, who only killed her friends out of self defense. I don’t think she deserves redemption at all.

Watching people play it and distrust it is not only awful for them but unenjoyable to watch unless you just want someone to hate it with you. It's one of the reasons I hate a lot of the criticism this game gets. It's a lot of people saying the game is bad simply because they didn't like it.

It was so frustrating because people who didn’t like it were usually just unable to keep an open mind, and because of that they just kept spreading negativity about it. For sure, I think that's necessary when playing this game. I hated Abby at the start of the longer part of playing her but I got to understand where she came from by the end. I was defensive because of how much I like Ellie but I'm glad I ended up putting it aside to see from Abby's point of view. Naughty Dog did really well with this game in my opinion :)

In the first half of Abby Day 1, I hated her guts. But soon I realized that I was getting in the way of my own enjoyment. So I took my blind hatred goggles off, attempted to empathize with her. I enjoyed the game a lot more after that. Now, with every time I experience the game again, I like Abby more. Still nowhere near as Ellie or Joel, but Abby is great too :) Also, Lev is MVP

That was her dad. If that was my dad, I can't say I'd done different. edit: 27:43 Bear, that's one of the dogs that Ellie kills at that hospital where Nora is. A detail but, it's cool naughty dog kept the story consistent like that.

It's crazy how good this game/story was written and how much they dwell you into Joel and Ellie. While watching this, I couldn't pay attention or stop rolling my eyes knowing we were playing as Abby. But as the game went on, I was diving into rock bottom putting myself in Abby's mindset and emotions. Now I'm just conflicted and confused, I definitely understand both Ellie and Abby and their need to avenge their loved one's. I'm so looking forward to how this is going to end, will it be like The Office on Conflict Resolution: Lose-Lose, Win-Lose, Win-Win, OR Win-Win-Win I'm so ready to cry

One thing that's bothered me about this game, after Abby gets back from the island the first time, you can CLEARLY see the bruises around her neck and wrists.
