The Little Lulu Show was something I remember watching as a kid with my brother a few times in my life. I can vaugely remember my aunt telling me I looked liked Lulu as a kid, lol. Thanks for bringing this show to light and talking about it.

Also back when I was like 9 I named my hamster Lulu because of this adaptation on HBO so it's cool to see ANYONE talking about it 💖🙌

Huh... I just posted a comment saying that the Little Lulu anime in English isn't "lost" anymore (at least four episodes aren't) but my comment seems to have disappeared. Perhaps because it contained a link? Was gonna comment again because previously I had only seen volume two but a little bit of digging showed they had volume one as well.

Such a wholesome review, it's great to see attention for Little Lulu; as reprints of the comic are coming out by Drawn & Quarterly. Also, with the obscure 1976 anime, I was able to recover some of the English-dubbed episodes recently. Anyone want to see it reuploaded? I'll be glad to do so.

It’s mostly available in Spanish because we love Lulu to an extreme! Lulu was so popular that Mexico tried to cash in on the popularity of the name Lulu and made a live action show called The Little House of Lulu with a grown woman and a grown man dressed as a teddy bear and shitty effects hated the show as a kid because I felt like I was tricked every time my clueless aunt will say Lulu is on and it wasn’t my Lulu lol

I had a bunch of episodes of the HBO version recorded on VHS. The style of the characters made me think it was a cartoon from the 50's; never would have guessed it was a 90's cartoon. You're right that no one ever talks about this show but I remember loving it when I watched it as a kid.

I remember watching this show when I was a little kid on Cartoon Network (I'm not 100% sure since it's been so long) and got so sad that they stopped showing it for no reason from what I could tell. (Probably low ratings in hindsight.) Back in the day, I tried looking for it online to watch but because of where I lived, I wasn't considered to have existed so that made me so mad. I really missed this show so much. I really appreciate you talking about Lulu in this day and age since no one else does.

The Kindergarteners are savages. Basically there is one group of kids for everything. There are the main five TJ the leader Grechen the smart one, the Fat one and Spenelli the Tomboy. And basically there is a group of kids for everything.

Bless you for this vid!! My sister and I loved the 90s Little Lulu show once our parents started paying for the bigger HBO package and had HBO Family. So disappointed in that channel now. Most of the shows we loved are gone. My sister also has a lot of those compilation DVDs of cartoons from 30s-50s that included original Lulu shorts or the ones of her little redheaded copycat. She loved the redhead girl a little more.

I specially remember my mother watching this show along with me and my sister, because she had grown up with the 70s anime and Lulu was kinda nostalgic for she. Great video!
