I’m so happy someone is making a video about PWJ. He’s one of my favorite players. Also staring down the Clippers bench with his arms crossed is a hard picture

You're right on. The Mavericks finally have a group of younger core players next to Luka - PJ Washington, Lively, Gafford, Josh Green - that give fans something to be excited about in the next few years. I hope PJ is a Maverick for life- He's such a good fit with Luka and it's hard to find a two-way wing like him

PJ Washington is an OKC killer, even when he was playing alone with rozier he would just shoot contested 3 after contested 3 and make all of them. His shoot first mentality makes our help defense pay every time

What are you talking about? In the regular season this year he averaged 8 pts a game against OKC in 3 games.

@@adybalanolomete I think I remember that, too but what does it matter? I have a feeling this has been OKC’s strategy in this series. Control the stars and make the “others” beat us. Didn’t work in game 2 or 3 but it worked in game 4.

It’s PJ’s job to not give up anything in the midrange. And he’s done that very well. SGA - 32 pts/gm in this series 48/45/91 shooting 10 Rebs/game 9 TO’s vs 28 asst How is that “doing very well”? And that’s with everyone else on the Mavs team doing everything they can to stop Shai.

A jack-of-all-trades player, only shines in good teams, where they have very specific roles don't have to think too much and the good team culture will allow them to do their job without judging efficiency, sometimes, it says more about the team than players. PJ washington is a worse shooter than Josh Giddey, he just is, but there is not a single shot he attempts that will cause Kidd to bench him, they need him to shoot open threes, it's great if he made them but it's OK if he misses, but with Giddey if he misses two threes in a row, that OKC boy coach would bench him, even tho Giddey is their only option other than SGA to run point, even on paper they only have one point guard, not using Giddey is just ludicrous to me, they should design some special possessions for him, play to his strength then maybe his shots would come back, but no they rather asking him to do things he is not good at and set him up for failure.
