This is good stuff. I have been playing blitz chess on the internet since '95 or so, I almost always play variations of the Sicilian as Black to White's 1. e4. I'm pretty sure I have been crushed in every way possible by White in the opening over the years. I have also won a few games. It's never boring. Thanks for putting this together.

Thank you for this series. Whenever I played this variation I always misplaced my knights terribly, turning it into the “knight dork” variation.

I love your videos, let me give you small suggestion. Less talk at the beginning of the video and more in-depth pieces moves on the board. You very first move on the board was 3:30 (we can cut this talk out). I'd like better if you focus on the actual plans of 2-3 variations you want to go through more in-depth and keep showing it on the board.

Yes, unfortunately there is in the French culture a predilection for a lot of talk without no real bearing on the topic at hand. I would absolutely suggest Pelletier to concentrate more on actual lines and variations, as well as key positions, rather than spending valuable time enumerating at length the players who excel in the opening, without showing how they did it.
