I'm Christian and the Bible says that God kept His promise to Abraham and did give all the land to his descendants by the time of Solomon. In other words, the promise was completed. However in order to be allowed to remain on that land God said the people must be holy and keep His laws and commandments. But they did not, and therefore were exiled. God brought them back from Babylon after they repented, after 70 years. Later the Messiah Jesus came and made a new covenant between God and man. But the Jews rejected Him and killed Him. God raised Him from the dead on the 3rd day as testified to by over 500 witnesses. God gave the Jews another 40 years to repent and to believe in Jesus and enter the new covenant. But they refused and so in AD70 God sent the Romans to remove the Jews from His land and destroyed the temple. They don't actually have claim to the land anymore because they are not in covenant with God. However even if God let them come back it would not be by stealing and killing but by peacefully sharing the land with the existing people. Netanyahu is not even religious but uses false theology to mislead his people into thinking God wants them to do this nonsense. But God will punish them for this, you can be sure.

What I do not understand and like to ask you as a muslim: The Quran itself mentions Israel as the land of the Jews. Therefore one can criticize the israelian politics - as a lot of poeple do all over the world, even in Israel- but one can't deny the existence of the State of Israel. I think one can and should criticize the circumstances under which the Palestinians live, but one can't give them the land back. After world war II, 14 millions of germans were expelled out of the eastern former German land and the frontiers changed. My father was one of them. He was a youngster than. I know this sorror, he had a longing for his homeland, but he educated me already as a girl: I am sad for that, but that is the price we have to pay for peace in Europe, that frontiers never will be changed by military force. Also among those poeple it was very common to keep the key of their former houses. Me as a descendant, I would never call myself a refugee, because I am not, my father was. And by knowing the history I would never accuse Poland for taking away my forefathers land. I am aware of the crimes Germany did there during the war.
