I felt the same. But when I realised that they are narcissists, I was played, fake feeling., lies, stabbing at the back...So I let them go without second thought. Be strong, focus on self love and believe in yourself ❤

Quite an ingenious trick they use. Using your own emotions against you. It's hard to let them go cuz they have imprinted themselves onto you, in some unfair, sneaky, sleezy way. I was left confused as well when she dumped me. Hot one minute. Then she ditched me for sum Chad. I'm no longer confused. I'm no longer influenced by her in any way. Only good vibes moving on to bigger better things... The confusion sux. But it's meant to make you think. Why did this happen. Then You'll dig deeper and discover your own worth. How weak and manipulative they were to you. Helps you learn how not to let it happen ever again. I was pretty aware of the love bombing and sexual needs she was after from the beginning. She never got her hooks In deep enuf to hook me. But she did try triangulating 15 friggin yrs later😂😂😂😂

This is so damn true... I always felt like I was being moulded into someone that I naturally wasn't...had to conform to what she thought was apropriate behaviour or responses which felt completely alien to who I am naturally...just so I could appease her and make her comfortable, now I know it was just her way of having that extra level of control... I feel sorry for them... but not for too long :)

Yes .. definitely!! Oh, and even in work. They keep you busy on other things. And if we're doing something that doesn't benefit them, they belittle it in all sorts of ways. Its soooo repulsive and sick .. for them to keep you down is a terrible thing. You learn to keep things quiet .. you mustn't tell them your interests or what you're working on. Just do it, trust yourself, fight off that natural feeling of wanting to share this with them, keep your progress quiet until you need to share it, if at all.

I was married for 24 years to a narcissist. We got divorced about four and a half years ago, and of the many odd things she said on her way out, like, "You're a 9, I love you, I don't want anyone else to have you, I hope you financially struggle", but this, "You turned me into your mother", I could take that literally or figuratively. If I take it literally, I beg to differ, I definitely wouldn't turn her into my mother, I think it's more accurate to think she turned into her own mother, and it's reflective of her childhood.

In the process of healing and breaking that bond, significant insights reveal the past weird behaviors, e.g., he felt embarrassed in a restaurant because I was in such a great mindset that I was having a wonderful time with someone I loved in a great dining experience. He manipulated me to think my enjoyment of the situation was the cause of his embarrassment, when it was actually his own insecurities that were responsible for his discomfort, and he was jealous that he was unable to match my enthusiasm for carefree delight! He simply was unable to laugh, only smiling while consumed with envy of my self confidence. So many revelations!

Efforts by me to make her happy included lowering my standards, and doing things I didn't want to do. Wondering when it would be enough to make her happy. When I figured out that nothing would EVER be enough, I was discarded. Which didn't surprise me because I knew that push back was not tolerated.

They exhaust you mentally until you act out. I went through this. I was sad everytime I told her it's over. But everytime I changed my mind, it got worse. It was great like a week or two, but then right back to insanity. It was literally a rollercoaster of mental gymnastics. After awhile it literally felt like a weight was picked off my chest. These people are mentally unstable.

Should you threaten a narc with exposure if they wont leave you alone?
@calvarado1520 Жыл бұрын
If it’s safe to do so, yes you should expose the narcissist for who they really are…..it’s the least you could do to stand up for yourself and for all those years of cheating, manipulating, bullying and lying they gave you……if you’re on the no contact phase plan an exit strategy, get your finances in order, do not show the narcissist any fear, document/record everything (in case you end up in court), let your close family know exactly what’s going on, watch your back at all times and leave them as soon as your able to.…..just make sure you don’t have any sympathy or mercy on the narcissist at any time……after all, you are just standing up for yourself and you will be giving the narcissist a taste of their own medicine for all those years of hell they gave you…..Good luck!!!!! ✊🙏
@shailaja2927 Жыл бұрын
Just build enough evidence against them and threaten them or ask why you should not expose them... They will be jittery at your feet... They will do anything you say because they are fearful If you expose them, that is even better.. They lose their high ground and cannot smear you. Just expose and get rid of them, don't let them into your life even if they apologize
