Warriors are displaying the tactics of "asymmetric warfare" by showing how perceived weakness (lack of size) can overcome bigger teams and stars through aligned purpose of the group, speed, skill and timing of applying the speed and skill. Steve Kerr is taking a page from Phil Jackson folks.

This kind of roster management was what I hoped they'd do when they acquired Chris Paul. Basically have two full units, like two teams. One consisting of vets in a movement offense and another of youth in pick n roll sets. They didn't do that, but now it seems like they are, except that with this roster, the movement and passing works from players 1-14. Podz, Buddy and GPII are playing perfectly together as a second unit. I feel like JK should join them and Melton or Moody should move to the starting role, but we'll see. They're still tweaking but it's working. This team is young, athletic, exciting and having fun.

Finally a video I can agree with 100%. Swish you know I was campaigning for Buddy Hield for 2 years strong. I knew what this guy could do because I had been watching him for years. While Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were dominating the headlines with there shooting, Hield was lurking in the shadows in the rear view mirror for years. Nobody talked about him because he was on some bad Kings teams for years. His career average is only 2pts below Thompson. He's already entered the top 20 in 3 pt baskets made after the first 2 games, and I expect him to skyrocket into the top 10 after this season, and with another season under his belt he will enter the top 7, I've done the math. Marinate on that a moment, from top 20, to top 10 to top 7. He's been in the league 9 quiet seasons without even being on the radar. I'm so glad Andrew Wiggins is recovering from his personal problems with his father, he's showing some promise playing the 2 guard spot. As for Jonathan Kuminga, he basically still looks the same from what I can see, but the season is still early. Kevon Looney looks a step faster and I'm so glad he has a nice mid range shot he's worked very hard on. They have starters coming off the bench. I noticed those overhyped Lakers and old man LeBron James inked out a couple of wins, I want to play those guys REAL bad and blow the doors open on them.

It's not over, but an 8-0 start is a shocker. Only one team did this. Not even Boston did this. Btw, Buddy's point average is amazing. He plays so at home with the Dubs, it's like he has been here for years! I don't think I've ever seen such seamless integration. I hope Draymond keeps his hands to himself and let the guy become a Warriors giant, because he deserves it. I won't have any envy and old sick man episode. I don't know if Dub Nation will forgive another episode. He already got a TF on game 1!!! I'm already about to snap at him. Who needs 29 adversaries when you have Draymond sabotaging his own team and Steph's legacy? Draymond better behave and do his job or else. I'm so exhausted and sad.

Antonio Davis (TJD father) played in some of the most exciting, playoff games in NBA history! Look at 1994 Eastern Conference Finals vs Knicks, 1995 E. Semis vs Knicks and E. Conference Finals vs Shaq's Magic and and 1997 E. Conference Finals against Jordan's Bulls. All 4 of the series went 7 nail biting games with Reggie Miller drilling incredible clutch shots. Antonio usually wasn't a starter but had to deal with the likes of Patrick Ewing, A stealth Shaq, Horace Grant and Dennis Rodman. Antonio like Gary Payton went to High School in Oakland. They were both born in 1968. So, TJD like GP2 has a special place for the Bay Area. Finally, TJD went to Indiana University where he learned to be absolutely skilled and ready for the NBA. Lets not forget his dunk on Wemby last season. In all respect, Kerr has not let this dog off it's leash.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if it turns out that letting Kuminga walk for nothing at the end of the year turns out to be the best decision for the team, freeing salary to stay 12 or 13 deep. Way ahead of ourselves here, it’s only been 2 games, but it feels like we might be ahead of the curve for how to win under the new salary cap era. Maybe going broke for a ‘Big Three’ isn’t the way. Maybe Stength in Numbers is the way.

The platoon system is working so far. And it's just fun to watch. I've been looking at box scores on other teams and noticed there will be one bench player that is scoring but not much production from the others. The stars are logging heavy minutes to win their games. I'm definitely in favor or subbing in fresh legs every few minutes, giving different looks that confuse opposing teams. Also, I just like the vibes. It seems like Buddy is offering more than just scoring. When you look at the bench, whoever he sits next to is smiling or laughing. Haven't seen Wiggs laugh in a long time. Steph seems to like him a lot. Kyle and DeAnthony are always smiling too. They seem to have bought in, and that's half the battle. The bench talent is so much better than I expected. Really need to see this team against some of the better teams.

Super excited for this season! Always been a Warriors fan and I’m looking forward to the media underestimating them, as they have, and watching the Warriors prove them wrong over and over again all season long! NBA is so narrative driven, it’s always nice when the truth breaks through and the media acknowledges it because they have no choice. Honestly, it makes Steph’s legacy even stronger because he’s undeniable and he’s always done it “the right way,” through hard work, dedication, loyalty, leading by example. It doesn’t matter what the media has to say about it now, we all know that after the greats of this generation retire, the truth will end up being what’s remembered and recounted. Also, on a personal note, I am LOVING watching the Young Dubs come in fourth quarters and stamping out the last vestiges of energy and will from the opposing team! They’ve lengthened the lead at the end of every single game.🙌🏾 🙌🏾🙌🏾

@@ammonquitalig9077 I agree the lakers look good. But the Warriors Swagger, Flair and the chemistry with the new players didn’t look the same last year IMO. Tell me when did Steph rest for the entire 4th quarter and the warriors still won by a blowout? And even if he did he would have already scored 25+ points and resting in the 4th. But now, Steph is putting up 7 points lesser than his career average of 25 in 2 blowout wins. I could have imagined this when KD was here, but now after just losing Klay? It’s beyond surprising TBH. GP2 looks like his 2022 version, If it’s in his reach, he is poking it out. And Wiggins looks like an All NBA player. We didn’t see them play like this last year, That’s all I am saying.

It's the same ESPN analysts that are trying to tell you Bronny James to the Lakers is not only the right move, but a genius move and his first game was a tear-jerking, unforgettable Hollywood moment. But we all have eyes, the whole thing is ridiculous.

It's a sly tactic going into overdrive from the jump thereby wearing the other team out. Even if they have a lead, it becomes short lived as fresh race horses arrive. BTW, pace isn't determined solely by running. It's how fast the ball moves! IOW, the other team gets winded trying to chase the speed of the ball.

Anything can happen during an 82-game season and GSW has completed only 2 games. Let's see how many home and how many away games they've won by the end of February 2025, and how intact their roster is then their chances of reaching the playoffs can be assesed.

*Warriors* literally had Waters 3 guarding Lauri in the 4th they made him non factor -swish/dray spitting facts they just need to allow time for the first unit to gel, then I’ll truly be waiting patiently after games to watch Kendrick Perkins continue to look like a moron 3- 8:11 Looney in College and highschool got a lot of KD comparisons before breaking his hip. He’s just lookin great shape ready to be change of pace 5

Swap JK for WATERS! Sign Waters to a 3 year cheap deal and then let him cook, he can play! That would have Kuminga demanding a trade and the Warriors can wash their hands clean. Trade Kuminga for Detroits Ausar Thompson or Ron Holland... even if they had to add a future pick. Both are in the Iggy mold of defense, rebounding, passing and playmaker... with Ron being more of a scorer. First time I've seen them play free and with joy since the punch! Such fun Warriors bball again!
