All I'd ever ridden was an auto 50cc moped, on the road, with L plates at 16. Then I went and bought a brand new YZ250 for my FIRST off road bike. Was an eye opener first time getting into the power band.

i ride 690 ktm enduro r and i do all the knarly hard enduro stuff so it is possible on any machine depending on your skills .

Hello mate. I'm from Chatham, Kent and recognise a lot of these area's. I've currently got an off-road truck for green lanes but picking up a road legal 125 Motocross bike. is there plenty of lanes for enduro around the Ashford, Maidstone, Chatham area ? Thanks

Ah nice one, we are quite lucky with having quite a few around Chatham. I have done a few in my truck but just more fun on a bike, but yea loads around Ashford, I luckily had someone showing me round when I went there but just plan your route before you go mate 👌

@@DITLO58 lovely. I got a pejero but built for offroad, it's just too big. I used to be semi pro at Motocross a few years ago. I don't have a big bike license yet but I'm going to do my CBT and get either a yz or KTM 125 for the road. Would be wicked if I could meet up with ya some day and you show me around 👍

How do you find green lanes?

There are a few different apps out there like OS maps. But have a Google for byway maps and you can plan a route from there 👍I have a video planned where I explain the easiest way to find them so just keep an eye out. Hope it helps 👌
