This segment came right on time! I'm in a new relationship and have noticed that often times when I'm doing something, my guy will call me over to him and give me the biggest hug. I playfully roll my eyes when he does this but deep down I think it's the sweetest thing. Prior to this video, I've wondered what his love language could be but I think I just figured it out....Thanks for sharing :-)

When my ex and I were having problems, I made it very clear what my love language was and suggested that he take the test . He was not about it and was very stubborn on the issue. He didn’t believe in the theory of love languages and would tell me that he should be able to love me as he sees fit. To say the least the relationship is no more. It really is simple, but we can chose to make it hard. I find the love language theory to be extremely factual and many relationships can be saved it both parties take the time to give of themselves when loving each other. It will come back you tenfold if you do! Cheers to love for all of us 🥂

1. Gifts: generousity thru gift giving. Wants to feel loved & appreciated. I'm a gift giver too. 3:00 2. Quality time: attention, makes them feel satisfied & comforted, support them. 3:48 distraction, postpone dates, failure to listen can be hurtful to them. 3. Words of affirmation, 4:20 affirm & encourage them thru say things to them they needed to hear. They feel appreciated. need to hear I love u, thank you, compliment, what u say is important. Negative & insulting can hurt them, & very hard for them to forgive. 4:59 4. Acts of service, Your actions speaks louder than words. help them get sth done. Lending a hand when they're having a hard time shows them that u really care. They have no tolerance for lazy, or broken promise. 5:55 5. Physical touch: hugs & kiss makes them feel safe and secure. physical abuse will hurt the deep. What if I need all of them?

I did the test based on the book and my love languages are act of service, word of affirmation and quality time. My partner “at the time” love language was gift and word of affirmation. I think even when you figured out what your love language are, it can be hard to express your partner love language... even if we understand what they need, when you don’t feel fulfilled yourself by those action, it doesn’t come naturally... the best I think is to find someone who has at least 2 love language similar as you do or love language that complementary! For instance, for me who don’t value material stuffs, receiving gift from him was never a real form of love. Instead I wish he could show me that he loved me by his action like making small gestures to support me or doing his best to spend time with me... but love languages is one of the most relevant thing I’ve learned in 2017!

My favorite topic! I’m Words if Affirmation by a looooooong way. I absolutely die 1000 deaths with unnecessary and none constructive criticism. Boils my blood, but I can’t get angry.
