Sorry but why do you think Seo Shin Ae is a lier? We dont know what really happens, so we cannot say that the bullying issue is true or false. Who first did a mention about the actress was another studient, so it seems bullying against Shin Ae was real and public into the school. According to a letter posted by Soojin herself addressed to the fans, she clarified a lot of things on her end. 1. She has smoked out of curiosity but she only did it ONCE and never again because it was disgusting. 2. She has never ridden or even knows how to drive a motorcycle. 3. She didn't bully anyone, the incident was with her childhood friend with whom she had a disagreement with and ended the friendship on bad terms because the childhood friend broke a promise. Understandably so, Soojin and the friend spoke over the phone and Soojin got so frustrated that she cursed at her and that is when the friend's sister got on the phone and argued with Soojin to which Soojin apologized and hung up. 4. She has never spoken or interacted with Shinae or whatever the actress's name is, I still don't know how someone can simply "assume" that someone bullied them but never even confirmed it before making ludicrous accusations. Clearly this actress was using it all for publicity. And by the way Soojin even apologized in her letter and said she felt sorry for Shinae because this scandal has also affected her. 5. Soojin does not recall anything about a juice incident, not sure what that is about but she apologized for that as well even if it wasn't true. This whole ordeal is a mess that Cube Ent did not want to deal with so naturally they simply removed Soojin from the group and washed their hands of this even if there was evidence to support that Soojin was innocent. Just like with the CLC dismissals, they simply do not care about destroying careers because they keep getting revenue no matter what. It is a "washed towel" mentality, you can reuse and repurpose a piece of cloth for anything. You use the towel, wash the towel, dry the towel and use it again. Once you start to notice tear and wear on it you toss it out and get a new one instead of keeping it and mending it. Cube uses its employed artists and gathers their invested time and money (plus more) and then gives them the boot when there is a single scandal. Just look at what they did to Hyuna and Dawn, booted them simply for dating. South Korea's incessant need to save face (maintain an image) borders the pathological. It is an obsession that ruins careers for the most mundane things. Doesn't matter which profession you undertake as soon as your name is brought up in any allegation against you, your employer will have to decide whether to fire you or suspend you until the rumors subside because you give a bad name to the company's reputation and reputation is EVERYTHING in South Korea. In such a small nation with such a small population maintaining the best reputation is a top priority for the sake of having a good standing in the eyes of world. This is honorable but also quite unnecessary and redundant as well. Simply for the fact that no matter who you are or what your rank and status is you will always have someone that dislikes you and tries to ruin you out of envy and spite. Also sorry to say it but most of the world will simply turn around shrug off your existence as a polished individual because most of the people elsewhere are laid back and more concerned with their own lives and own success rather than yours. It is a futile attempt to revolve your life's achievements around gaining public recognition in order to validate your every decision. The world continues on even if you didn't exist. Such is life 🤷

Ok i wanna say something on this as everyone is...... First of all i just started stanning G-Idle on May and Soojin was my bias and this just breaks my heart about her leaving G-Idle. First, bullying is wrong and I don’t condone it. However, accusing someone of bullying when your only proof is the word of your sibling is questionable. 3 people came forward, with no proof and Soojin lost her job. The fact that these allegations can cost someone their career is wrong on so many levels. If everyone that had a bullying incident as a CHILD, lost their job the majority of the population would be jobless. Also the scrutiny and judgment their accusations put the idol through IMO is comparable or even worse than the original offense. It affects her career and future, Soojin is now the target of millions of netizens in contrast to the 3 people she allegedly bullied. Cube and other entertainment companies need to start taking legal action against these accusers. Destroying someone’s future because of childhood mistakes isn’t fair. An apology and trying to find an acceptable resolution between both parties seems more appropriate. And why Irene is being dragged into this matter? It’s not even the same situation, She’s not even a bully. It was one incident, a work related argument for that matter . She apologized personally in private (she came forward before SM make a statement) and publicly twice, and the stylist already accepted her apology and mentioned to stop dragging the incident since it’s already been resolved. Plus the fact that a lot of people (60+ people) who worked with Irene came out and defended her speaks a lot. Why people still cannot leave her out of their mouth? I believe that idols, people for that matter, should not be heavily criticized and crucified from the things that they did in it past especially on a very young age, they should be given a chances, as long as they own up for their mistakes, apologize for the person they hurt and be mature and learn from it. I get that bullying is really bad, and could affect one's life, not just her/his school year. At the end of the day, we don’t know the extent of what’s true or not when it comes to these accusations against Soojin. It does seem like there’s a lot of “He said, she said” in both directions. So, I hope that if anyone did feel victimized bu her actions that they can find some form of closure. It definitely does seem though like there’s far more support in favor of Soojin resuming activities with (G)I-DLE as opposed to those who want her career to be over. I definitely think that the world is ready to give her a second chance (regardless of if she did anything wrong or not) and that it’s unfair to have her step down from the group. Honestly, if Sorn and Soyeon created their own company, they’d be so much better off than being under Cube. And I’m so afraid about LightSum and any other groups that Cube debuts in the future. Imma predict things and say that LIGHTSUM is going to face this same problem either the same accusations or a different one. At some point, I see a lot of news regarding cube's artists, each and every single one of them. I would gladly love it if the entertainment gets bought by Bighit or they switch their CEO for the better. Soojin has lied a lot to Cube, Cube has tried to believe in her but her Lies busted in the end. Soojin lied that she doesn't know Shin Ae. She openly challenged Shin Ae to prove her claim, which Shin Ae did and gain her SK public support. Shin Ae is a bullying activist far since before Soojin is an idol. She has good public rep. Soojin also lied that her school has no school committee that used to handle her case while she's still in school, in which the school committee is brought forth in the end strengthen Shin Ae and othee victims claim And several more. If only Soojin admit her mistake and apologize like Hyunjin and not lying or even denying the bullying, she might still be in the industry. After all, any bullying victim will soften up if their bully genuinely repent and show the sincerity that they changed.

At this moment, I want idle to start focusing on their solo activities. It's just not the same without Soojin. Cube messed up because they couldn't be bothered to take action, be it investigation in her defense or making her own up to whatever is said about her, if it's true.

Here's the issue with solo activities, not all the members are as popular as the other and can successfully do this. A lot of people are especially worried for Shuhua, for numerous reasons but especially if the group disbands.

Idle just feels handicapped without Soojin. Their timbres and styles were unique and somewhat contrasting. Miyeon feels balanced, Yuqi has depth that grounds the song, Minnie is striking and ethereal, Shuhua is dynamic esp. since she sounds good in both her high and low notes, Soyeon is strong and energetic, and Soojin balances her with sultry calmness. But what can we expect, there was 4minute, Hyuna and Dawn, and now, CLC. We don't even know if Cube's gonna let Idle continue promoting together after this.

Cube think about profits and not their idols..I noticed when cube idols get in scandals they put them on hiatus first and if that scandal can't come to a conclusion or if it dont die down they will drop that idol and that's also goes for sales, if that idol or group can't sale they give them late comebacks or just dissband them...so when cube seen that they can't come to any conclusion for Soojin case they started to think about their profits and gidle as a group...i like Soojin and I love G-I-DLE....but everybody knows this line " your past will come back and hunt you" she might not have been the one who done it but it might have been the people she hanged around with in middle school probably they are the ones doing all this bullying alligations that her old classmates blaming her for and because Soojin was around them and the only one who probably become famous she is now being blamed for it..in my opinion but I hope she don't let this stop her she is amazing singer and dancer cube lost another diamond

I just hate strong internet hate, we make assumptions which leads to mob like lynching. Its sad because everyone will jump at the moment someone is accused of something and then the rumors spiral and the hatred grows until everyone sees that person as malicious and spiteful. Even if she did bully someone in the past, people change, constantly. Many people don't even realize until they themselves are accused of a mistake they've committed in the past and have to say "I've changed since then." When things are resolved, its always too late. Look at all the idols who've had their careers ruined or having to basically restart from the ground up due to hate or uninformed misunderstandings such as T-ARA. Or the idols who have taken their lives due to hate. It genuinely makes me concerned whenever news like this gets released.
