Indeed we need nuance, which is clarification, not compromise. The very example you mention of the Trinity needs nuance, not compromise. Yet out of fear for confrontation there is compromitation, causing our local church to have (afaik at least) two members rejecting the Trinity and confessing binitarianism.😢

There is no nuance in 1 Cor 14:39 Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and . Your entire narrative is juxtaposed to this verse. read it in your bible. American Gospel why are you telling people to not be Pentecostal? It sounds to me like you guys are very anti gifts of the spirit. Read your bible people. 1 Cor 14:1 Pursue love, and . this is the opposite of your argument and this is not my opinion, this is Gods Word. AG, are you loving and desiring spiritual gifts? There's no "sunshine clause" on these verses. Why are you against what the bible clearly states? Acts 2:38 This is Gods Word! What biblical foundation do you have. Why are you throwing rocks at people who believe in the same Jesus Christ as you believe in. Gamaliel spoke wisdom on this, AG, you would do well to follow his advise. Acts 5:38 And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; 39but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it-lest you even be found to fight against God.” AG: Read your bible, stop telling people stuff that's opposite of what the bible clearly states. Acts 2: 15 these men are not drunk as you suppose. I'm for respectful and properness as much as anyone, but the Bible says that our spiritual forefathers appeared drunk, so the whole argument of "if you are not acting proper" then you must not be of God, is an unbiblical mind set. We are all Christians, followers of Christ, the bible is our source of truth, not the opinions of AG or me, the bible has to trump our opinions.

We've never made any statements about our views of the gifts of the Spirit in a film. The participants in our films also hold to varying positions these issues. Apply Gamaliel's advice to other religions, like Islam for example. Muslims are growing in numbers, so should we conclude that God is in favor of that religion and that we should never speak again it? No! Gamaliel wasn't a believer, and his advice shouldn't be taken as a command for all Christians to follow. You also shouldn't take the mocking of unbelievers (who claimed the apostles were drunk on wine) and turn that into a doctrine that allows for "spiritual drunkenness." Yes, the Bible trumps our opinions, but it has to be read in context.
