In Rig Veda, hymn 2.23.1. Siva Purana, Rudra Samhita - Kumara Khanda, chapter-13 describes birth of Ganesha. In multiple kalpas, Ganesa evolved differently. Therefore, There will be Different Stories in Each Kalpa About his Origins. In present Sweta Varaha Kalpa, his head was cut off by Siva.
