I was immediately smitten by this stunning little gem when I first came across it about 3 yrs ago and Rich's enhancement with this posting makes it dazzle even more. The composition clearly demonstrates the immense skill of the composers Judith Durham and David Reilly. I'll go out on a bit of limb and suggest that the arrangement with those inspired harmonies had Keith's fingerprints all over it. The sheer depth of its beauty is breathtaking! jtk

They had their very own unique sound that never bowed to the emergjng "modern" pop/rock of the day - and yet were able to maintain their huge popularity and following over several decades. This is a beautiful, poignant song with more than a nod to the complications of making up one's mind about a (potential) love interest. For those "afflicted" by the perils of love, these words will truly resonate and even unsettle. Thank you for reviving interest in this little known Seekers' track.

I remembered hearing the group singing on the radio when I was in college in the '60s but never knew their name. I encountered your channel and the music by accident. It brought back many pleasant memories. I didn't like the Beatles when they arrived in 1964. It is good to know another British group had better songs. More folk-style songs like The Kingston Trio and Peter, Paul, and Mary. Again thanks.

Love this Keith Potger composition! This truly was (and is) an amazing group! The blend of voices and musicianship is superb! I think that the Seen In Green album was their Sgt. Pepper. ❤

I think this was actually written by Judith and David Reilly. Keith was the lead singer. Your reference to Sgt Pepper is relevant because they were getting very similar production quality in neighboring studio rooms.

Hey Rich -- they certainly got a lot done on that old 707 ... however, I am a bit alarmed that at 00.19 that same UFO is buzzing the aircraft as the one in California Dreamin'. Maybe it's homing in on Judith's voice.
