I had to re-upload this one due to a mistake with export settings on the other video which came out really low quality. I lost my key fob during all the testing, so I wasn't able to record a lot of what I wanted. The bike runs amazing with the flash and I recommend it to those like me who want that little bit extra.

Nice vid! Got the Speed Triple 1200 RS myself, amazing bike, limiter is a bit annoying though. Keep up the good work, love your vids of the COTA ;)

I was thinking about getting this bike the only thing I'm worried about a lot of reviewers say doesn't have much torque down low off the line is that true I'm coming from a Hayabusa motorcycle

​@@richardcerritelli9657 No idea compared to a hayabusa but its got plenty of torque everywhere. Its fuelling is a bit spotty at lower revs though. You can look at the dyno charts for both online. Clearly the Busa is putting out more power but then its putting out more power than almost all bikes.

I also got my handheld today! Have now read the ECU and sent the file! How long did it take for you until the flashed file was sent to you? @Cuban Rider

i am seriously thinking abt this one but need to ride one myself first - i tried a street 2-3 years ago to replace my monster 821 but it felt very "civilized" i think due to a combination of lower torque and triple engine but tbh nothing wrong with it and sound-wise i liked the intake noise a lot - this one though seems to be a beast on paper , same as the duke and the mt10-rs. Opinions are highly appreciated :p

What mode do you keep your bike in to let it wheelie easier? Also my triumph factory fly screen I put on my bike violently shakes when I hit 120+mph to where it’s hard to read the speedo. Have you had that problem?

Yeah what is it with Triumph not engineering in windscreen adaptability? So irresponsible! An MT-10 that like Triumph has frame mount guages and headlight and their windscreens are a snap to install either oem or aftermarket but it's like Triumph just dropped the ball on that for no reason I can see? Wonder how many sales a "little" thing like that cost them? No doubt for some it is a real deal killer .... your comment takes the wind out of my sails to buy the RS now ....I was assuming somoene would make a nice touring scren but if the setup cant even handle a flyscreen?? NO WAY! and it explains lack of aftermarket choices!

Hey, did you need to disable traction control to be able wheelie? Or the tune changed up things related to TC etc? I’m only able to wheelie if I disable my TC, but I’m unable to disable tc while riding, so either I need to stop and disable tc or disable before riding. I thought I’ve seen doing a wheelie without the tc disabled warning. Did I see wrong ? Or did the tune affected those parameters too?

Too bad you had such bad luck with the bike. Saw u got rid of it almost got scared away from buying one for the issues people had, but ended up getting one love the bike not one issue so far

Somewhere around 12.5k. Keeps pulling hard past the stock redline!

How about warranty after ECU flash?

You can load your stock file before taking it for warranty work. If you leave it installed, the dealership might update the software and you'd have to pay a fee to reset the tuner. There's the chance that the dealer might detect you tuned the bike at some point, not sure if dealers have that capability. Even then, they usually have to prove the tune was the reason that caused something to break.

@@CubanRider Even if you flash the stock file back on to the bike before you take it in, when the dealer updates the software to a new version as part of the regular servicing (not always but can be quite often with a new bike) it leaves the B T flash on the handheld also needing to be updated (by B T) before it can be put back on the bike. Which B T charge you $200 every time. If you forget to flash back to stock and then the dealer updates the bike it will cost you another $200 (plus the fist $200) to get the B T flash back on the bike again. So the overall cost of having this flash will add up to a lot, particularly when the bike is new (more regular updates) and FWIW yes the dealer can detect if the bike is flash before (even if put back to stock) but most won't bother to look, like you said better to find a dealer that is cool is the most important thing really if you want to flash a bike under warranty.

​@@IN_ZANE_ thanks for clarifying. I had read on the website that it was $150, but for the Speed Triple is $200. Unfortunately it's not even up to Brentuning, they have to pay Dimsport for the new license, that's the handheld manufacturer so BT doesn't have much control over what they charge. One of those gotta pay to play scenarios. 😬

Naked motorcycles have a lot of advantages the big advantage that I like is working on it it's easy oil changes chain adjustments without the fairing my Hayabusa motorcycles is a pain in the ass a half hour to get that stupid fairing off before you work on it that's we're you have a big Advantage with a Naked Bike.

You dropped your FOB? See that is why I would rather just have a good ol KEY like BMW? Dont they give you a secure place to store the fob so you DONT drop the damn thing! But then? what is the POINT? just as much trouble to insert metal key in ignition as inserting gob in special compartment The ideal thing if you ask me would be something like facial recognition? ALONG with voice recognition and maybe a choice of either touch pad combo or even bluetooth from your phone? or a combination but i think ALL vehicles should still have some type of key option even if it requires verification to use it or a touch pad SOMETHING other than ONLY a damn fob that would be so easily lost WHILE you riding! At least a hard key has to be in or it stops running And in the absense of all that if you lose it all> THEN you should still be able to borrow a phone call an 800 number and provide secret info for a remote emergency access to your motorcycle!
