The way he treated her reminds me of my marriage, people who watch this think its easy but getting out of such a relationship is way too hard. They make u think yo lucky they are even with u! I was just 21 but the thought of living without him was just not possible in my head. Until I said enough is enough now I'm the master of my own life😁

Can be dangerous to leave that kind of relationship too. Must be done. Carefully. The laws may be better now, but they’re not very well enforced and there’s still a lot of people who are molested and worst either or or abuse verbally mentally physically by even family and because their family or there are someone who’s supposedly supposed to be that loving person it’s hard to prove and you’re the one put on trial. It’s very hard and I respect that you had a hard time getting out of the situation like that I did too, and if no one else said that to you, I’m proud of you. You did the right thing the only way you could and that’s all that is necessary.

Husband has anger problems and is a psychopath. His wife suffering batterer's syndrome out of fear is his enabler and scapegoat. She is easily influenced by him. He is bad to the bone; dangerous. I am deeply concerned about the welfare of that little innocent daughter of theirs. I hope the wife gains release and he spends the rest of his life behind bars.

Loved the film. I am glad that she divorced clay because the way he controlled her physically and mentally abused her. Clay killed the man, so he his doing time .she is out . Her name is her maiden name. It's a lovely ending .😮😮😊❤

She went from one abusive situation to an other, so it’s not surprising that she ended up how she did but she did the best she could and should be seeing a strong and capable not weak. No one wants to be pitied. We just want to be able to move forward with our lives as I’m sure she does.
