Ok, so my parents got me a taclight for my birthday a few days ago. How it works is that there are three different “levels” of brightness. If you click once, it’s super bright. If you click 2times, it’s sorta bright, and if you click 3 times, it’s dim. If you click 4 times, it goes into that self defense mode on the highest brightness. And you have to cycle through all of the levels to get back to off. So yeah, that’s how it works
