To keep it short, at age 72 I was diagnosed with T2D, metformin prescribed. But nothing improved, but numbers kept going up. The Keto diet helped a great deal, but my A1C didn’t improve. My MD prescribed monjarno. I saw numbers on my sugar monitor I had not seen, even in my lab test-ever! Now 30 lbs lighter, I tell everyone to get away from metformin! It’s too late for a friend however.

I highly recommend an all meat diet and a lot of B 6 and 12 vitamins, benfotiamin, riboflavin, folate, calcium, manganese, chromium, R-Alpha Lipoic Acid, and lion's mane.

I am taking metformin with sitagliptin sustained released (1000/50) for the last 4 - 5 years with Neourobion two tablets per day and a drink made of 9 food ingredients per day, which you instructed to take in one of your video, and by the grace of God I am save with all sides effects. Should I continue like this ???

I’m on metformin 500mg twice a day. . Videos like this scare me however Mounjaro is 1100 after insurance sadly. I’ve changed my diet, exercising, & etc. In 3 months I’ll have my blood drawn again I’m hopeful I can get off of it and control this on my own fingers crossed.

Why not fast acting insulin for people who have occasion sugar spikes? I stay at around 90 most of the time but if I eat something like a couple pieces of pizza one time I spike to almost 300. I would really like to know.

Afrezza maybe a good option for occasional blood sugar spikes. Some people don’t make insulin at all and need insulin for every meal. Your doctor will decide.

Hello, thanks for all your advice! Can you address the people saying that keto messes with our body’s ability to handle carbs or do you agree? I have seen a few videos on that and am curious because after 3 months on strict keto, I had sweet tea and my blood sugar hit 215. That would never cause that spike before, maybe 160 at the most. Why would my sensitivity to sugar increase like that?

Try drinking 2 tablespoon of lemon juice, 2 tablespoon of ACV with a teaspoon of cinnamon in a 16 oz bottle of water with a dash of cayenne pepper...shake it up and drink...Doesn't taste good but it will cause your numbers to come down and lose some weight

BP drugs, etc. My sister died at 70 yrs. old - never had high glucose until she went into the hospital, and they started giving her drugs - she thought the nurse was crazy when she said she has diabetes. She said - I've never had that before. Nurse said, 'well you do now'

Have anyone out there seen Sharon Osbourne lately? She looks terrible. Sharon was taking Ozempic and has lose a lot of weight. Not good. I would never use this drug to lose weight. Should not be sold as a weight loss drug. Thanks for the videos Doc.

I recently stopped taking Ozempic due to side effects. Sharon may have "Ozempic Face" which causes her to look like she's aged in the face a lot. She most likely has lost a lot of muscle mass.

Well, that’s great. You may not take your car for maintanance and it can last 200,000 miles or it can collapse at 20,000. There are so many variables. Exceptions don’t alter the rule.
