Thank you so much. I had some lower back pain and yesterday I did your 20 minute for backs and was so much more comfortable the rest of the day. Today, I just had a bit of stiffness below the waist so I did this workout. Since the start of the pandemic and finding your Pilates workouts, I have done one of them daily. They keep me pain-free at 81.

Went to the doc today. I have terrible back pain. Can't even get out of bed in the morn-osteoarthritis in my spine along with herniated discs. I need to do exercises to strengthen my core and help with mobility. Thank god I found you. Thanks

I've been having terrible trouble with my back and lock-in made it worse. I found you by accident and started with your stand-up workouts, I'm amazed I could do the floor work today, you've really helped me, thank you so much. Love your Friday lives, it forces me to take a break from the laptop and I start every morning now with your 10 min stretch and try to get a few 30 min stand up workouts in every week. Brilliant thank you Rachel! I've suffered with lower back pain for nearly 20 years and other health problems, finding you has helped me so much. I've been doing your classes daily for a few months and this is the first class I've been able to complete from start to finish, without having to miss any exercises out! I'm very glad I found you. Doctor suggested Pilates to help with mid - lower back pain. Cue panic from me as lockdown and lack of finances would have prevented this. Enter stage left; T.G.W.T.P.M. As I have a general poor level of fitness I've started with your stand up workouts and will move onto the floor workouts for back pain relief. Well done, you're a life saver.

Great to hear Alan! So pleased they're working for you and yes, Pilates is great for the back pian. Strengthening the core and stretching the muscles will really help you. Try and do at least 3 sessions a week, hopefully withthe current lockdown that's achieveable. Good Morning I’ve just done my first Pilates class! My wife practices regularly with you in a morning, I do yoga but I’ve found it a bit of a struggle lately so I thought I’d give your practice a try while my wife was out. Being a 64 year old bloke with a pacemaker, asthma and diabetes I have to do a bit more than a walk in the park, and I have to say this was just right for me. I’m getting past doing an hour at a time, unless it’s a yin yoga practice. So I’m thinking your going to be part of our morning exercise routine from now on especially as I can link my iPad to the tele’ so we’re not squinting at a little screen. So from both of us a big fat thank you for what you do!

Hello Steven, That's great to hear. Really glad the exercises work for you. Getting the stretches in as well as getting the core work that you will from regular Pilates will be really good for your overall strength and flexibility. I would recommend the breathing too as it helps loosen any tightness in your rib cage and shoulders from your asthma. I have few asthmatic clients who have said the breathing has helped immensely. Interestingly, Joseph Pilates who invented the method was asthmatic and was very keen to improve his own breathing which I think is where the attention to breath came from. I recently managed to do something really painful to my lower back whilst tidying up some tomato plant stems (so not exactly heavy lifting or straining!) and these exercises have made a HUGE difference! I do a lot of walking and the exercises have highlighted some tight hip and leg muscles. Thanks for all your wonderful videos and fantastic explanations. Brilliant! 👍🏻

Loved this new class Rachel. Have been waiting for it to be available. I have sooo many back issues from 40 years as a flight attendant ! The long haul flights of dealing with not only luggage & overhead bins but maneuvering heavy food & beverage carts takes its toll on ones body. I haven’t had or felt the need to get another massage thanks to finding your wonderful you tube classes. Helleo Debbie, sitting in a large swiss ball is great for trhe core and easier on the lower back. Sadly, our sofas are not good for the back if they are vey low. As long as the ball keeps your hips at the same level as your knees or if the pain is bad in the back keeps your hips higher than your knees then that would work I think. Do let me know 🌟😊
