Here is the next in the series of the DISH and the SPOON BOX!
My friend Rachel lives in a lovely house near the sea. Anna and I had such a nice time visiting her, and watching her at work in her back yard. Seeing her carving the spoons was absolutely fascinating... and I am sure you are going to love watching her turn those pieces of pear wood we saw my son John unloading in the last video, into beautiful spoons!
Find out more about Rachel here
www.eggandspooncrafts.co.uk
and on Instagram @rachel_bainton
There is more to come! Join us next time to see the next wonderful artist, my dear friend Lisa.
These BOXES go on sale on 31st July at 7pm BST. There are a very limited number so set an alarm if you really want one!
www.thelasthom...
I create extra content for my Patrons and you can check that out here.
/ thelasthomelyhouse
This Friday (July 1st) watch behind the scenes of the making of this video with Rachel. She and I chat about the process of spoon carving and she carves another spoon for us!
Support from Patrons allow this channel to continue and I am grateful for each and every one of you! Thank you!
You can join the Virtual Lime Green Sofa on Facebook by searching for The Last Homely House where the lovely Admin Folk will welcome you.
You can post your crafts and ideas on Instagram too and use the hashtag #lhhlgs where you can meet other like minded friends. / kateatthelasthomelyhouse
There is even a Spotify playlist of all the Movie Soundtracks I love so much! open.spotify.c...
I have created Playlists for all of these videos - try this this one -

The music in this video is from Epidemic Sound and is called

Thank you for watching,
Love

Outstanding. When I was a young girl, I was quite a Tomboy and I often brought a jack knife to school with me and whittle at recess. Just IMAGINE if a kid was caught whittling at school these days? The SWAT team would be called in!

I like watching great crafts people work. I have two wonderful artists in my own family. My sister paints in oils, weaves baskets with long pine needles, designs and constructs original stained glass pieces, grows anything she plants, is a carpenter and etc. My middle granddaughter draws and designs original pieces and is doing lots of studying to be a great tattoo artist. She draws so well, WOW. I have one grandson who bakes sweets and desserts, he doesn’t consider himself an artist. I tell him he is wrong. Baking is science but to people like him who cook outside the box, it is also an art. I love to watch carvers of wood and rock, I love to watch glass blowers, I am a quilter, and hand stitcher. I guess you could say it is something a lot of us in my very large family appreciate very strongly. Your spoons are wonderful. Thanks, Kate for sharing all of this with us.
