I have to say you guys have saved me. Listening to all of your videos has truly helped me heal and grow with my depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. I was in such a dark place and didn't know really how to deal with a lot of things. Your videos have enabled me to take control of my emotions and my life. I've recently discovered this meditation and I really enjoy it. I usually keep thinking when I feel an emotion but its like adding gasoline to a fire. If I manage to silence for a while my reaction slowly fades just like a fire gradually finishing by itself. Usually meditations tell me to "let go" as if it was something active, but lately it works more if i just don't think. When I try to "let go" I'm forcing a feeling away, but it feels like actively ignoring it which is not "nice to myself". If I observe my body and really go into it it kind of adjust by itself... Which is weird because I think about all the times I ignored myself and my reactions thinking i was doing the right thing, while it is better to acknowledge in a neutral and open way. Such an important skill 🙏 thank you

I am a new subscriber and may have missed if such a meditation already exists, but I would so appreciate a meditation on setting good emotional boundaries. I am a highly sensitive personality type and easily pick up and am affected by the moods and behaviors of others, especially when directed toward me. Practice putting it aside mentally when it comes up. I find, a soft message of, it’s okay, it makes sense that your mind is trying to take over here but I want something else now so no thank you I want to feel. Very gently and it helps. Good luck

I found this meditation difficult. I seem to attach my emotions to concerns outside of myself, especially upheaval in the lives of close family members. I have difficulty owning the emotions somehow. I do not feel riddled with emotions. I feel the need to do something practical about the problems and then the emotions take care of themselves. This is hard to express...Maybe I need to just keep on trying with this meditation, Any suggestions?

@@NgocNguyen-px8kd I meditate for different reasons on different days depending how I am feeling and what my day holds for me. Mostly I meditate to be in the present moment, to start my day feeling positive and uplifted, to let go of tension and stress.

In Cog Nito If you read your statement, you’ll see that you answered your own question? However, if you don’t feel as you say “riddled” yet feel stress and tension related to your families issues, do you think it’s a matter of syntax? Perhaps you don’t feel the accumulation of whatever it is, because you do have a practice of meditation. It’s OK to give yourself credit for taking good care of yourself.
