At 5’7” and 175lbs (athletic build), I usually wear a size Medium in most t-shirts. Currently, my favorite one is the Gap Everyday Soft Crewneck. Most of the color choices are 100% cotton, so I avoid putting them in the clothes dryer but they are a great value and fit great.

The best t-Shirt--by far--is the Bronson Loopwheel Tubular. Unfortunately they always sell out quick. Perfect fit, although go up one size. The distinguishing factor in this t-shirt is it is heavy cotton with a substantial collar that does not stretch. The neck and the quality cotton is what makes it great.

Lately I’ve been buying the Madewell All Day tees. They look good and fit pretty well for the price. I have several Warehouse tees that are pretty heavyweight but very short in the body. Not cheap but if you can find them on sale, worth the pickup.

Thanks for the great content from another 5'6" guy. My build is different with a 40" chest and muscular build, weighing in at 165lbs. My favorite tee is the Ash & Erie in a medium, they fit great and I have them in a few colors. I recently got a few pairs of pants from Abbreviated and like them a lot, I will try their T's. I may try the ASKET with their length options. Thanks again Brock.

Old Navy used to sell really good t-shirts on the cheap a few years ago, maybe 5-6 years ago. When i went back to their store recently to replace the 4 or 5 i've been using from them these past few years, i noticed that they're just not the same. Can't pinpoint exactly what's wrong with them, but i just don't like them as much as the ones i bought a few years ago.

Hey Brock, Happy Thanksgiving to you and grateful for your content. Appreciate this list. I have a heavy t shirt from Buck Mason that I'm liking now. I will definitely try the Abbreviated. Have been wanting to try a few pieces in Mike's collection,but the models he uses in his advertising kinda puts me off. Just curious, why is it i rarely see you mention Peter Manning? I have never purchased from them as when i've tried they never seem to have the exact size i need. Speaking of sizing with regard to tops a small is generally too small and a medium is too big. any suggestions? Thank you.
@BrockMcGoffАй бұрын
You too, Will! I think you'll like Abbreviated. Mike is doing really good work there. I used to work closely with Peter Manning (managed marketing for over a year). Sadly, after the original founder (Peter) left, things seemed to go down hill. I don't find myself buying or wearing their stuff anymore, other than a couple of older pieces. The brand has so much potential, and I tried my best to make an impact there, but the current leadership wasn't open to change.

This video is "11 best T-shirts," not "11 cheapest T-shirts." For most products, if you want the best, it's probably going to be expensive, because premium items usually cost more to make. Would I ever pay $40 or $50 for a T-shirt? Probably not, but that's irrelevant, because this video isn't aimed at those who are budget-conscious. It's for those who want the best.
