Great haul! I have a couple of Blackstone urban fantasies on my TBR!

I need to get into their fantasy authors. I've always been drawn to their crime thrillers because I've been on a kick for that genre this last year...which is kind of their fault because I took a chance on one, loved it so much that I kept going back for more, lol

If Alderson doesn't sneak in someone telling the king they sit on a throne of lies... we're raiding!

wow, what a beautiful cover for Scenes for the Carnival Lounge. That and Corpse Honey are great titles. They have grabbed my attention.

Mindy - I think you would absolutely love Corpse Honey - likely Carnival Lounge as well, but I'll have to wait until I read through to make sure. I feel confident in Picco's writing that I have read in the past though.

I understand how some of the Irish names and places can be confusing. We don't have K, J, V, Q, W etc in Irish Gaeilge so we substitute them.

I can't even properly pronounce the English language, so I'm already at a disadvantage. Besides, the Irish accent and language is so beautiful to listen to.

@@TheNerdyNarrative Depends on the accent, it varies depending where you go in Ireland same as anywhere else haha

Have you read anything by Kendra Elliot? I think she did the Mercy series and the Columbia River series. I got to meet and hang out with her hen my twin brother was dating her. Her stuff is mainly murder mystery/suspense stuff. Also, another author I'd love to see reviewed is Ted Taber.

No, I haven't read Kendra Elliot, (yet) but my ears perked up at a series named the Mercy series. Mercy is my favorite Overwatch hero to play, lol I'll look into Kendra and Ted both!

My brother made dinner for the family when he had Kendra over for dinner. My dad asked Kendra what the biggest change in her life was after she made millions writing. She said that she can go into whatever grocery store and say to herself “I’m going to buy THIS toilet paper.” She’s very down to Earth. And is a Star Trek nerd. YES!

That sounds like something I'd say, LOL! Yeah, she sounds like my kinda people
