When I see this behavior, it makes me believe his complaint is legitimate. Anyone who would circle a man and use their power to try and intimidate him is exactly the kind of person who would abuse someone in jail. The fact that they don't care about how they are perceived tells me that they know the system is corrupted to let them get by with anything.

I had a similar experience with the St Clair County Sheriff's Department in Belleville, IL when I attempted to file a complaint after being roughed up by three deputies during a traffic stop. I went in to file a complaint and got harassed, intimidated, and then charged with disorderly conduct, and filing false/frivolous grievance or other official report. I wish cell phone cameras, and body cameras, and social media outlets would have been a thing back then. I filed a lawsuit, but it went nowhere, and ultimately made things much worse. Back then it was the citizen's word against their word, and without evidence such as video, their word won every time, and there was no recourse. It was an awful experience that brought on several years of harassment from law enforcement that did not stop until I moved away.

A problem that has followed me for over 40 years, I feel the need to vent about the collision between my past and my life today. No matter how you think about me I’m not a criminal. I have felony convictions for drug issues and that leaves me in a very difficult position regarding police interactions with myself. I can’t file complaints about the police, or be a witness against them … suffice to say I no longer have any civil rights. I’m not a criminal, like I said. “But you broke the law - “ you might say, but so did you when you were speeding, or illegally parked, or … breaking the law makes you just as much as myself a criminal. So, there are no innocent people here … but the kicker here is you didn’t get caught … that’s it. I have never robbed anyone or killed anybody or even so much as performed a kidnapping. But I’m a criminal and so are you. My misdeeds, in reality, have been the reason I’m labeled as a non citizen. I do not perform or contemplate doing these kinds of things … real criminals do. I am an American citizen regardless of what the law enforcement agencies say … and I served my country. But that means nothing to anyone but me. Things have to change …

What gets me is that this show acts like they're fighting the good fight and trying to help. But all they do is promote their patreon and ask for more videos. That isn't bad on its own, they need to make money to keep working, but they should do the bare minimum to actually help. It sucks that people who care have to "hope" the victim checks this shows comments. I never noticed until I saw a video of a family victimized in my city and I wanted more info so I could find out more to call my local representatives to complain, donate what little I could if possible, and just show support to people in my city, like I and many of us do with victims on other channels. And I had to just try to Google what I could from the name because there was nothing from thus show either on the show or in the description. I started watching more videos with this in mind and I realized they never share any information. I went from loving this show to despising it. This show is a parasite in this area of content. Most people who might help if given the information won't even make the effort to search in the first place, let alone scroll through pages of irrelevant suggestions and try different search terms to try to get to what you're looking for. If they really wanted to help they'd actually help. And why are you making excuses for them? They just had on James Freeman, Lackluster, and that Otto dude. Go to their videos. You'll find links to original videos and/channels. You'll find links and phone numbers and addresses to the police departments and/or DA offices and/orcity council or whatever relevant government agencies the audience can reach out to to complain or voice concerns. And you'll find links and info to donate or otherwise help the victims in the videos and/or victims in general. And it's not just big channels like those three or San Joaquin Valley Transparency, Direct D, etc, etc. Even the small channels do these things. THIS show NEVER does. Not at all. Excellent reporting and significant questions for critical thinkers to absorb. The arrest of Maurice was insane. The entire local government needs to be disbanded. With law enforcement like that the local government has to be at least as bad. How do The People that live there explain the existence of that level of ignorance and corruption in their government and its thugs? I am really curious to know the answer to that question.🤔 #FreeEricBrandt💔

Absolute power corrupt's power absolutely. We never comply our way out of abuse and tyranny we only comply our way into abuse and tyranny. You know how to break it down girl!!! You're always right on point in every way and I thank you a zillion times over! You put word's to my thoughts and questions so eloquently! We the People have been groomed, desensitized, propigandized to accept the unacceptable. Believing we are a free people living in a free country we simply give our power away, unbeknownst to us, complying our way into expanding government's power and condensing we the people's power. When we don't know our rights we have no rights. Learning your rights and exercising your right's will show you how free you aren't. Every single branch of government behaves with imputiny and immunity to accountability because that's their plan. They expand we contract.

Thank you so much for watching and for your comment! You made really excellent points! I love that last sentence "Every single branch of government behaves with imputiny and immunity to accountability because that's their plan. They expand we contract" Can I borrow that? You also make the point that I learned the hard way in my city, Baltimore, if you don't know your rights you don't have any. I did not even realize that my rights were being violated nearly every day during the Zero Tolerance policing years in my community. I could not leave the house without my ID because I lived in what was considered a high crime area, because of that at any time police could stop me and if I could not provide ID to prove that I lived in the neighborhood I could be taken in for failure to ID and suspicion of buying, using or selling drugs. And believe me I was asked for my ID, I was paranoid about having it! That is one of many reasons I know how important it is for people to know their rights, stand on them if they can, and help protect other people's civil liberties as well. Thank you so much for your comment and for watching! -taya

True. Cops should have to pay for the court costs of civil trials against them for corruption and violence. They should pay for criminal trials where they are the ones on trial for doing illegal things to others. If they had to pay they would be a lot less bold about breaking the law and gaslighting people about their rights.

The right to petition for redress of grievances is Constitutionally protected and cannot be denied without due process of law. Due process of law isn't a cop saying something. It's a ruling issued by a judge in a courtroom after fairly considering all relevant evidence.

I wonder how many millions of dollars they get for unlawful charges on people not breaking any law's. The girl giving him the papers was doing what she was told to do. Tyranny starts at the top and goes down to these cops who just enjoy doing it to others for money or control or both

They do this with anyone who challenges them. I know. I got a broken bone and numerous scratches and much more at my home at my front door. The sheriff did it with others. I am going after them as soon as my plea deal is settled with my lawyer. They lied as did the two characters who claimed I did something to them which I did not. A video shows this but not when they broke my bone and hurt me. My home is being secured with cameras everywhere and I have no criminal record!
