You know why Larry deserves his current KZbin success? He admits that it was HIS decisions that landed him in prison. It was HIS fault he messed up his life and his families. Not society's, not me, not you, not the Police, not his Father, not his Mother. His. And only someone who understands that can truly change their life as Larry has. Not many men are "man" enough to admit that. Some of the other people with 'prison channels' don't do this and it shows.

@layne stayley when you say "certain people" it isnt limited to what people usually jump to, my grandfather (a white man) was murdered by an officer in his own home, the police were doing a wellness check because of false calls and my grandfather went to see what the dogs were barking at with his pistol as my mother's ex was very violent and was regularly harassing us and stealing things (the police never announced themselves or made themselves known in some way btw) the police man shot my grandfather 3 times at point blank through a window in the dead of the night just because he had a gun in his hand, which was lowered btw (also you literally cant see a thing outside because we didnt have any outdoor lights besides one on the other side of the house that was next to the air conditioner unit) keep in mind, my grandfather has the complete right to have a gun in his own home and in his hand, the officer on the other hand went against my state's protocol and this was literally supposed to be a wellness check, not a serious situation. The officer got off scott free, and now I have a dead grandfather who was the most important person in my life. Edit: forgot to mention I was there when it happened and I also witnessed the murder.

Prison is supposed to be a reform system and yet people are just treated like animals and people wonder why they never adjust in life ever again. There's people that go into prison for stealing food because they're starving and they come out of prison being far worse people than they went in as. If I were a cop and I caught someone stealing food they clearly needed I'd go out of my way to make sure they get help somehow. You’re great at what you do, and I don’t think there’s a better person to advocate for prison reform than someone who can speak as eloquently and has as much experience as you. Also the growth you’ve had in such short time is really impressive, keep going hard the sky is the limit man.

I've heared about violence in US prisons... but never thought it can really be like that. Interesting stories you guys have there, over the ocean. Listening to Larry is like sitting in the kitchen in the evening with a good friend, telling stories. Really fun and really scary stories, but... well told. You can feel it. Listening for the third day in a row. Larry is very good in story-telling. Even that its in foreign language - i almost forget about this.

You video was an eye-opening experience. It brought me to tears. You are right. NO ONE deserves that kind of treatment. I hope your videos teaches those who watch them and inspires them to make changes that will treat prisoners humanely. It's incredible how people think that federal prisons are country clubs when they are the worst of the worst. I hope that people take you seriously before it's too late for them. It's so interesting to hear Larry's past, also heartbreaking hearing some of the stories but maybe if enough word gets out with Larries vids, it could maybe help inmates be treated more humane in the future. Also, Larry's an awesome narrator and I like how he tells his past in just free form. I'm glad he turned his life around and lived to tell us his past, good man. Good channel, stay gold Larry.

Larry you emphasize words perfectly you have mastered the art of story telling keep it up your the type of guy who I wouldn't mind being stuck in an elevator or bus for hours on end with I'm so inspired by how you turned your life around and in prison even though the odds were stacked against you, you still stood up for what you believed in and what was right even if that ends up with you in the hole

Based on your stories, a lot of people die in prisons. Don't the families sue the prison? Doesn't the government do anything about it? Anyway, keep up the good work! Much love from Bulgaria!
@syanheart31785 жыл бұрын
The problem, as far as government goes, is corruption. If inmate deaths are reported as self inflicted or natural causes, such as hitting your head and giving yourself a hemmorage, instead of them neglecting medical care to someone suffering, there isn't much the government can do. Its why the prison systems are so bad. You've got wardens and prison gaurds running around like fucking tyranical dictators.... not to say all are bad. Just like cops, there are bad ones and good ones.
