My favorite is practicing outdoors, barefoot in the grass, imagining that the Earth's energy is flowing freely through me and from me. But winter has hit big time here, so I'm having to adjust. Thanks for the tips, Jeff. Love your gentle and encouraging manner.

Look into “Earthing” or “Grounding” matts. I believe they make a grounded bed sheet also.

@@chrismullin8304 I actually have one of those grounding bed sheets... not sure it's been doing anything. Spring's here... I'll have my feet in the grass again soon, hopefully. No cost!

Thank you so much Jeff for refreshing our mind with those 7 rules of Qi-Gong practice. For me the important thing is to coördinate the exercises with breathing. Most helpful. God bless you Jeff and Thank you so much for being there for all of us.💖💕👌🙏

I love the idea of "taking yourself where you are," and allowing the body to find it's own rhythm. My sense of it is that we access a deeper body wisdom when we keep our thinking mind out of the movement experience as much as we can.

My impression is that Qigong practice in nature is even more powerful than at home. I love practicing in the quiet atmosphere of an old forest very much, especially when the sun shines through the branches into my face. The hospital where I work is situated in a beautiful forest and I often use my lunch break for practicing there. Greetings from Germany and thanks a lot for your helpful videos!

Hi Jeffrey, thank you so much for your advice. You have reminded me to focus more on the intention of my practice :) My rules are: I practise twice a day, even it is only a very short session of one or two minutes. I always follow my Qi gong with a meditation, whether that is listening to a twenty minute guided meditation or a minute or two imagining myself walking along a beach.

I always practice early in the morning, while the house is quiet, after coffee, empty stomach, empty bowels, remove all distractions ie eye glasses, ring etc. all must be equal and balanced. Otherwise all you have said is correct. Thank you!

extremely helpful accessible guidance in a sea of often conflicting well meaning rules required to follow in a qigong tai chi practice. although i have always struggled with the idea of intention vs non attachment/no expectation of a qigong yoga meditation practice.

Hi Jeff. Just to hear your voice makes me feel as if I am being kissed by a cuddly Teddy Bear! I adore your videos. Do we have to set different specific intentions every time we practice? Isn't is enough just to feel that it makes us healthier and to set this intention that we want to be healthier once and for all? Thanks in advance.

Hi Jeff, have you written any books on Qigong?
@ThinkVitalityQiGong2 жыл бұрын
I started writing a book several years ago, but then I decided to focus on making videos on KZbin and the Communi-Qi. I have enormous respect for authors who complete books!
