Ik what youre saying here, but the only reason they implemented this is because at launch, it was literally impossible to complete one battlepass to maximum level, before the deadline for the next one. It was immensely grindy

@@peepss2616 The reason at this point is kind of mute, the idea to keep season passes up forever to return to is the key point. If it was because it was too grindy then that's an easy fix.

They have always stayed, but you had to buy the old ones if you were a new player. The free version was removed. That's one major reason why I stopped at season 2. They just took away free items I could have gotten if I played the game like it was my job. I didn't grind like crazy because 343 only said after the free pass went away that you could only unlock old passes by paying.

It isn't so much lag as it is just a package error with forge maps. It has happened to me 2 times, both only ever on forge maps. Once on the pit, the other time on guardian where I thought I had glitched through the floor of the map.

I also started playing Infinite again this week - game is still better than people give it credit for IMO. Too many people locked into their nostalgia for what Halo used to be. If you can accept it for what it is (no longer the market leader, beholden to how the business of shooters is run nowadays to please shareholders and publishers, forced to adapt), the game itself is still plenty fun.

Unfortunately, soon enough you will realize that there is the dark side of the halo community. People who hate 343 so much, even if halo infinite was perfect they would still find something to complain about. Some of them are so determined to make halo dead will go through every comment on the halo youtube channel and say really shitty stuff to any comment saying anything nice about the game, and no this isn't a joke you can see on the most recent firefight reveal video, just go through the comments there are plenty but one guy in particular is literally at the top of replies of so many of them, so go as far to literally pay an insane amount of money just so they can cheat on mcc, while spamming let halo die or halo is dead in the chat, they then proceed to change their gamertag to someone else and it was resulting in someone innocent getting banned too.

Halo being Free-To-Play is what really sucks the life out of the game. The monetization truly sucks. But, I do feel like spending $10 and being able to unlock every battlepass is not a bad deal. The free battle passes they offer through the seasons as well are quite generous. But ultimately, a normal progression system that gives you gear while earning currency that you can use on MTX would be best.

Ive been playing a lot of Halo infinite. My biggest complaint is there are no map names anywhere when you start a match. You want to know what map you just played on. Hope youre ready to navigate the awful UI to go into community and theater to view your last match so you can read the map name. Its crazy to me how in 2004 we had a more functional Halo game. (minus forge, gotta give props for that)

The thing that has saved infinite is firefight. Otherwise, the PvP is trash. The game is way too fast. There’s no need for team dynamic or strategy because most maps you can get across in 2 seconds. And the aiming for weapons is just awful. But thank god for PvE

If you think about it, halo is free so you can buy $60 for a game, or 6 battle passes for cosmetics. Their mot great somtimes and then what if you wanted more cosmetics, youd need to buy another. You basically grind your money/battle pass

They had a Pv(E/Bots) mode in the past that they all of a sudden went “WOW, I think it’s a 100% good idea to reduce XP earned from our PvE mode by 4x times and we’ll have no negative impact or feedback on our community especially the people that hate pvp.” I hate this year, bungie is a greedy husk of its former self and *LITERALLY* falling apart due to greed and denying benefits, along with that in halo infinite 343 keeps making the game better for sweaty PvP tryhards. The firefight better have XP (and I mean decent xp), stupid Xbox one having slow downloads not the slowest, but long enough that I’ll have to wait til Friday at least, the time estimate sucks and ALWAYS FIDGETS. Edit: forgot to include that I had been experiencing extreme digital Keyboard lag with typing this.
