as GM guy this doesn't make any sense to pay a premium for this. Its pure marketing it's a HD Z71. There isn't any additional capabilities to make a Trail Boss

It’s basically an appearance package coupled with the tires and Z71 stuff. FWIW i actually like the appearance!

It all depends how much you need to tow ? ? ? If you're only gonna tow once or twice a year go with a gas for full time long distance like weekly across states go for the diesel engine period ! ! ! !😮😊😊

To call a purely cosmetic option package "Trail Boss" is complete marketing fake news. PW has front and rear lockers, a winch, and a disconnecting sway bar. The trail boss... red tow hooks.😂 Granted, it is better at being a truck though.

It doesn’t destroy the Ram if it has the shitty fake Allison transmission. I had one for 1 year. Transmission was complete garbage. Shifts like a mule kicking the truck in the ass and it couldn’t pull a greasy string out a cats ass.

There was an update to the trans tune and it’s now rock solid and smooth. Mine was the same but now it’s perfect. It actually holds gears and pulls better than our Ford 7.3 gas option.

This truck does not even come close to the Power Wagon. Its a prettied up Z71 that cost a lot more. The Power Wagon has lockers on it and comes with a winch. This truck would compare to the Rebel 2500. The Power Wagon vs ZR2 w/ the 6.6L gas is the right comparison.

I have a Ram Power Wagon, don't worry about the front locker and sway bar disconnect, they don't work half the time anyway. And now two PCM's in 40 days, what a POS!

So how again when your comparing off road packages does this destroy the power wagon. Take them off road where your spending that extra money on those packages are intended for and watch the power wagon completely smash that truck. I'm a GM guy too. Not a Ram fan boy.

So a 2.7 can produce 310/430, but a 6.6 can only bump that up to 405/460? Nearly three times the size without three times the power increase.

Does not have an SFA...so as a pure offroader is NOT in the same level as what a Power Wagon can do. That said, it is a MUCH better all rounder than the PW is....for towing, hauling and offroad combined.

I sold my '20 Denali 2500 due to the hard as a rock seats. My '20 Silverado 1500 cloth is same way. Looks like ill be switching brands if the '24's are still hard. Such a shame they used to have awesome seats.
