Great job Tia! ❤ That was a beautiful 50/50 plate (bowl). Here’s to food freedom and realistic meals. Thank you for keeping it approachable. ❤ I add pickled jalapeño brine to thin out my “potato cheese” sauce, put it in a squeeze bottle, and it is a game changer. 🎉

Love this! I really hope that we are now moving away from praising people for being morbidly obese. We never ever ever should mock or laugh at anybody for their weight,. Period , but it is also not loving to applaud people for being not healthy in that way. I really hope that we can see that it really does come down to eating less calories and being in a calorie deficit overtime. It is so achievable and I think the biggest problem that so many of us have is just our unhealthy Relationship to food. I pray that as a country and as a world, we don’t go to medicine to help us lose weight. I think this whole Ozempic craze will have terrible outcomes down the pike. It is one day at a time making choices to eat things That are healthy for you and I really appreciate your channel!

No one is praising anyone for being fat, we’re getting ridiculed and scolded instead. Some people are just fat no matter what they eat or how much they exercise, it’s not a moral failing that is to be praised or condemned.

Do you have two kitchens? I saw that you had a black granite and an induction top. I was just wondering because the kitchen you’re in is mostly white that’s cool if you have a prep kitchen or second kitchen my husband’s a chef and we would absolutely love that, but I was just wondering.
@HealthyVeganMama2 ай бұрын
@@Kindlelover88 no lol the clip of me cooking is from before we remodeled. Sometimes it’s easier to use footage of a meal I’ve filmed prior vs than cooking and film it again. Trying to be as efficient as possible so I can share videos with y’all on a weekly basis.

Wondering how you get enough daily protein being vegan and eating approx 1500 cal a day. I'm having difficulty getting more than ~50 grams of protein!
@HealthyVeganMamaАй бұрын
Oh wow. I’d be interested in hearing what you’re actually eating. I easily get 70g per day without trying. This meal in particular is about 26g of protein. Make sure you’re eating beans, lentils, tofu, tempeh, legumes. Also nutritional yeast has loads of protein so if you’re adding that to your meals, that’s great. As long as you aren’t restricting, you should be able to easily get to 50g per day.
@FrancyneFoxmanАй бұрын
@@HealthyVeganMama Thank you soooo much for responding! I do have/use nutritional yeast and I can step that up. I normally eat: 2 eggs, half avocado, Veges: raw carrots, celery, radishes, green onions, Misha's cashew cheeses, Bean chili, fruits, cashews, pistachios, dark chocolate, kasha, .....sometimes I have a string cheese for the protein....I've started adding Greek yogurt despite the dairy just to get in the protein. I have tofu a couple times a week. I try to stay at ~1500 Cal and that's difficult to get in enough protein.

@@tammyinwv1 I've just started cottage cheese and Greek yogurt. I just can't eat enough vegan protein (either not hungry or don't want to go too much beyond 1500 cal). I'm post menopause and have gained 15 lbs....eating more protein & of course moving more...has begun to move the scale! And I eat suuuper healthy but still couldn't move the weight.
