if you want to enter the giveaway for some hats and fly boxes subscribe the channel hit the like button and leave a comment with #flies in it. I’ve had so many requests to start making fishing videos, so as we just passed 300k subscribers, I figured it was time to post one-along with the first face reveal on the channel! Of course, I plan to stick mostly to fly tying videos since sharing patterns is the primary focus of the channel. However, if this interests people, I may post more. If this is something you enjoy, remember to drop a like, as I use that to gauge what people are most interested in. Good job, reminds me of my old truck and camper shell, I had a similar setup I slept in for many years until I got older and had to pee a few times a night. Now I have a 4wd Van . Much more comfortable for chasing fish , sleeping stream side.

Great video and the answer is yes! Please continue to educate us on what you know about your fishing skills with these outdoor videos! We understand everybody’s time is important, but whenever you can, I doubt you would have any subscribers complaining about anything! Love your fly tying and replicate many of them with the last one I just tied the wet red/black ant I just added to my repertoire! Have a great day and great to see a face with the voice!

G’morning Mainely Flies. I missed the trip to Maine this passed spring, but heading up in a couple weeks to try for some landlocks. Beautiful water you’re fishing there, not sure which stream you’re fishing, but I love Grand Lake Stream. The area called Picnic and up into Corporation is my personal favorite spot. Good stuff.

Very nice video, very relaxing! Appreciate you sharing your experience on the water! Very nice box of flies shown in your video, very uniform! Question? Any native rainbows with browns present!
@MainelyFliesКүн бұрын
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Here in Maine, we primarily have brook trout and landlocked salmon as our native species. There are some rainbows and browns but none would be native. In the video, I kept referring to them as “native,” which is true for this area, but what I really meant was “wild,” since there is stocking that happens here as well. Thats why I was rolling them over to check for clips.

What size do you generally tie those vinyl stoneflies? I need to tie some of those. Im pretty new at tying, so they're somewhat laborous for me and take me a while, but i love their look. Ive not gotten to use them but will when the steelhead start moving in if it ever rains again in ohio.
